Best Ground Mounts in Palworld 1.0 Ranked
Best Ground Mount: Hartalis (Level 61)
For the safest choice in the land pal category, we're going for
Hartalis. There are many great contenders in this area such as
Necromus or
Paladius but we've found that the Home Sweet Home hero is still better overall, mostly due to its Triple Jump capabilities and high Stamina stat.
Hartalis comes in at 900 run speed, and 1900 sprint speed, and 400 stamina.
Hartalis Location
You'll find
Hartalis by hatching the Huge Common Egg dropped from its boss fight. It does not spawn naturally in the world.
To summon
Hartalis, you first need to acquire 4 Hartalis Slab Fragments from the Pal Expedition Station. Turn these fragments into a Hartalis Slab and summon
Hartalis at the Summoning Altar.
Best Mid-Game Ground Mount: Pyrin (Level 29)
Next up,
Pyrin is a solid choice for overall ground movement once you reach Mid-Game. You might encounter some resistance trying to obtain it, but overall this is a solid choice as you progress to eventually obtaining
Hartalis
Pyrin comes in at 850 run speed, and 1300 sprint speed.

Best Starter Ground Mount: Direhowl (Level 9)
Unlocked very early into your journey, you will find that
Direhowl is a fantastic choice for overall speed. Coming with a partner skill that further boosts ride speed, its mobility competes with many higher level ground mounts. It has low Stamina, however, which is its main drawback.
Direhowl has 800 base speed, and 1050 sprint speed.

Best Flying Mounts in Palworld 1.0 Ranked
Best Flying Mount: Eidrolon (Level 69)
The 1.0 update has dethroned
Jetragon as the best flying mount. That title now belongs to
Eidrolon - this Pal has a unique ability in that in addition to movement the flying speed gets increased by 2 - 6% for each of the Dragon or Dark Pals in your party setup. Similarly,
Eidrolon Ignis provides the same boost but for Fire pals instead of Dark.
If you don't like the setup needed here for BIS capability, you can still go for
Jetragon, which is more plug-and-play oriented.
Aside from this,
Eidrolon boasts an impressive base speed of 1400, and an even larger 2750 at full speed.

Best Mid-Game Flying Mount: Beakon (Level 29)
Despite others Pals like
Ragnahawk being a solid choice, When you reach mid-game, try to get your hands on a
Beakon, for an extremely reliable and speedy Pal. May players are currently referring to this Pal as their go-to for mid-game, and it's for great reason. For any other Electric Pals in the party, this Pal will gain an extra 5% Speed.
Beakon comes in at a juicy 750 run speed, and 1200 top speed.

Best Starter Flying Mount: Elphidran (Level 20)
For a cheap advancement on your flying saddle, be sure to keep a close eye out for
Elphidran, which has great movement at a low entry point. It's not the very first Flying mount you can get - that would be
Nitewing at level 15 - but it's significantly faster and worth waiting those extra 5 levels to grab.
Elphidran has a comfortable 700 base speed, and 1000 top speed.
