Crimson Forest collectibles in Phantom Blade Zero include Memory Flowers, weapons, accessories, medicine, and upgrade fragments spread across the forest, caves, and underground chambers.

This guide covers your first visit to Crimson Forest. Some locations require later progression, so it does not complete the entire region.
Requires the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank. At the Outlaw Trap bell, use the crank on the nearby mechanism to open the underground entrance.
Descend the ladder, turn left, and pass through the doorway. Defeat the enemies inside, then open the chest at the back of the room.
Sha-Chi Amber Fragment 2
Requires the Crimson Forest Cellar Crank. From the Cliffside Lodge bell, enter the lodge and use the crank on the ground-floor mechanism to open the stairs.
Descend into the cellar and find the side chamber filled with green poison. Lure the large enemy into the clear area before fighting him, then enter the poisoned chamber and open the chest at the back. Leave promptly and heal as needed.
Sha-Chi Amber Fragment 3
Requires the Thieves’ Camp Dungeon Key. From the Thieves’ Camp bell, take the descending passage to the locked dungeon entrance.
Inside, continue past the wounded man and treasure chest, then drop into the lower camp. Defeat the enemies and search the enclosed area on the same lower level, beyond the dogs, for the fragment.
Sha-Chi Amber Fragment 4
Requires the Cave Prison Key, dropped by an enemy in the lower section of the Thieves’ Camp dungeon.
From the lower camp, climb the ladder and cross the small bridge on the left. Follow the upper passage to the locked cell, unlock it, and collect the fragment inside.
Blackstone Fragments
Blackstone Fragment 1
From the Abandoned Main Road bell, continue towards the broken crossing and use the scratched climbing walls to reach the opposite side.
Pass the raised platform with the accessory chest, climb the ramp, and follow the path into the cave. Drop onto the lower platforms to find a purple pickup guarded by an enemy. Defeat him and collect the fragment.
Blackstone Fragment 2
From the Trail of Cages bell, continue to Quick Hand Zhang’s hanging cage, then take the cave passage on the right.
Follow the cave to the campfire and descend the rocks beside it. Beyond the Memory Flower, enter the water on the left and open the chest.
The water inflicts poison damage, so collect the fragment and return to dry ground quickly.
Blackstone Fragment 3
From the Red Serpent House bell, return through the courtyard gate and climb the stairs into the enemy camp.
Find the building containing the Forest Outpost Courtyard Key. Leave that building, descend its steps, and enter the neighbouring building immediately to the left. Defeat the dog inside and open the chest.
Blackstone Fragment 4
Requires access to the Cliffside Lodge cellar. From the Cliffside Lodge bell, enter the lodge and descend through the opening created with the Cellar Crank.
Pass the first enemy and drop onto the wooden platform below. Turn around and enter the enclosed space beneath the upper platform. The chest containing the fragment is beside the Crimson Forest Secret Chamber Crank.
Weapons and Phantom Edges
The Fanatic’s Broken Blade
From the Pangzhen Bridge Overlook bell, approach the large bridge and defeat the Sword Fanatic. The weapon is awarded after the fight.
Outlaw Warblade
From the Outlaw Trap bell, follow the path towards the scratched climbing walls leading to Jing Ye’s arena. Defeat Jing Ye, the Outlaw to receive the Outlaw Warblade.
Rescue Quick Hand Zhang near the Trail of Cages bell, then visit his hideout above Thieves’ Camp. Speak to him about relics to begin his treasure request.
Collect the Sect Leader’s Snuff Bottle, Bloodstained Seal, and Ancient Crossbow, then return to his hideout and hand them over to receive the Flying Dagger. Their locations are listed under Quick Hand Zhang’s Treasures.
Iron Gauntlets
From the Mirrorwood Entrance bell, descend the nearby ladder into Stone Hand Iron Fever’s arena. Defeat him to receive the Iron Gauntlets.
From the Threadbound Great Tree bell, follow the path into Bai Chilian’s arena. Defeat her to receive White Serpent and Crimson Viper alongside an accessory reward.

Accessories
Shieldbreaker Talisman
From the Abandoned Main Road bell, continue along the main path and cross the gap using the scratched climbing walls.
On the far side, find the enemy standing beside a chest on a raised wooden platform. Climb the ladder, defeat him, and open the chest.
Cavalrybane
From the Trail of Cages bell, continue to Quick Hand Zhang’s cage and take the cave passage on the right.
Follow the cave upwards until you emerge beside the crank that lowers his cage. From the crank platform, drop onto the wooden platform directly ahead and open the chest.
Preservation Jar
Collect both Preservation Talisman Fragments near the Outlaw Trap bell.
First fragment: Enter the cave near the mounted enemy and Memory Flower. Defeat the enemies inside and collect the fragment from the table.
Second fragment: Use the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank beside the Outlaw Trap bell and descend underground. Take the right-hand route across the bridge, then collect the golden pickup beside the wall.
Collecting both fragments forms the Preservation Jar.
Silent Wrap
Begin Honor Among Thieves by defeating the enemy on the grassy hill outside the cave near the Outlaw Trap bell.
Later, enter the wooden hut in Thieves’ Camp and speak to the Gentle Thief. Answer his three questions by choosing the responses about:
Stealing a jade belt.
A butterfly.
The letter not stating what happened to the child.
Answer correctly to receive Silent Wrap.
Quick Hand Pendant
Rescue Quick Hand Zhang from his hanging cage near the Trail of Cages bell.
At Thieves’ Camp, follow the path past Yu’er and climb the scratched wall on the right. Open the door to Zhang’s hideout and speak to him inside. He gives you the pendant as thanks for freeing him.
Calming Gourd
Speak to Yu’er near the Thieves’ Camp bell about the wounded in the woods. Accept her request and use the Life-Saving Pills to treat four injured men.
Outlaw Trap underground passage: Descend through the crank-operated entrance, cross the bridge on the right, and find the man sitting against the wall.
Cave near Outlaw Trap: Find the wounded man beside the Memory Flower outside the cave containing the Tunnel Crank.
Cliffside Lodge cellar exit: Follow the cellar’s upper passage past the Dungeon Key pickup and open the door. The wounded man is immediately beyond it.
Thieves’ Camp dungeon: Unlock the entrance with the Dungeon Key. The final man is on the left just inside.
Return to Yu’er after treating all four to receive the Calming Gourd.
Resonance Talisman
Defeat Bai Chilian beyond the Threadbound Great Tree bell. The Resonance Talisman is awarded after the encounter alongside her weapon.
Bells
Crimson Forest
After entering Crimson Forest and watching the opening story scene, activate the bell directly beside the main path.
Abandoned Main Road
From the Crimson Forest bell, continue past the first Memory Flower and take the left-hand path into the water-filled enemy area.
Climb the stairs, then the scratched wall at the back of the upper platform. Wall-run across the gap and continue along the path to the bell.
Pangzhen Bridge Overlook
From the Abandoned Main Road bell, follow the main path across the broken crossing and through the cave containing the first Blackstone Fragment.
Break through the door beyond the fragment and continue past the enemies outside. The bell is on the right before the large bridge and Sword Fanatic encounter.
Trail of Cages
After defeating the Sword Fanatic, continue across the bridge until it collapses. Turn around and swing across to the lower path.
Follow the caves past the medicine pickup and Memory Flower, then climb the scratched wall towards the exit. Defeat the enemies around the corner to reach the bell.
Outlaw Trap
From Quick Hand Zhang’s cage near the Trail of Cages bell, follow the path straight ahead across the small bridge.
Continue through the cave and defeat the large enemy near its exit. The bell is on the left beyond him.
Thieves’ Camp
After defeating Jing Ye, follow the path towards the bodies hanging from the tree and cross the large wooden bridge.
Continue past the two women on the bridge into the camp. The bell is to the left of the tent near the entrance.
Red Serpent House
Requires the Forest Outpost Courtyard Key. From Thieves’ Camp, follow the wooden cliffside walkway beyond Quick Hand Zhang’s hideout and pass through the cave.
Climb out of the cave to reach the large locked gate. Unlock it with the key from the uphill enemy camp. The bell is directly ahead on the other side.
Cliff of Longing
From the Red Serpent House bell, follow the main path uphill and cross the bridge.
Defeat the enemies beyond it, climb the long staircase, and scale the scratched wall at the top. The bell is on the upper ledge.
Cliffside Lodge
From the Cliff of Longing bell, descend the cliff towards the enemy camp below. Continue through the shallow pit and climb out on the opposite side.
Follow the descending path to the large lodge. Go around its right side and through the stone passage to find the bell behind the building.
Mirrorwood Entrance
From the Cliffside Lodge bell, return around the building and follow the onward path to the right.
Continue through the story scene to find a Memory Flower beside the next bell. Activate the bell before descending the ladder towards Stone Hand Iron Fever.
Mirrorwood Long Pillar
After defeating Stone Hand Iron Fever, enter the cave to the right of his arena instead of returning up the ladder.
Pass the Memory Flower inside and follow the right-hand route, swinging across the gap to reach the river area. Find the red-glowing Long Pillar and activate the bell directly in front of it.
Burial Grounds
From the Mirrorwood Long Pillar bell, turn away from the challenge and follow the route towards the river on the right.
Use the grapple points on the trees to cross the gaps. The Burial Grounds bell is directly ahead after the final crossing.
Parting Mists
From the Burial Grounds bell, pass the campfire and follow the path downhill. Take the left branch into the mist, then work around to the right through the trees.
Continue beyond the Memory Flower in the fog and follow the path through the story scene. The bell is directly ahead afterwards.
Mirrorwood Depths
From the Parting Mists bell, descend towards the Banyan Tree, then follow the uphill path beyond that area.
Use two grapple crossings and continue through the rock formations. Drop down, pass the Memory Flower, and follow the route through the birds and across the water. The bell is just beyond another Memory Flower.
Threadbound Great Tree
From the Mirrorwood Depths bell, take the right-hand route into the mirror puzzle.
Listen for weeping and pass through the mirror the sound comes from. Continue until the mist clears, collect the two Memory Flowers along the path, then complete the second puzzle using the same sound cue.
The Threadbound Great Tree bell is beyond the second puzzle, before the final boss.
Memory Flowers
These will be added to the map soon.
Memory Flower 1
From the Crimson Forest bell, follow the main path a short distance to the Memory Flower introduction. Interact with the flower before reaching the fork in the path.
Memory Flower 2
After defeating the Sword Fanatic near the Pangzhen Bridge Overlook bell, continue across the collapsing bridge and swing to the lower path.
Pass the medicine pickup and enter the cave. Follow the path uphill and around to the right, then defeat the dogs guarding the flower.
Memory Flower 3
From the Trail of Cages bell, continue to Quick Hand Zhang’s hanging cage and take the cave passage on the right.
Clear the enemies near the campfire, then descend the rocks beside it. The flower is on the lower ledge above the poisoned water.
Memory Flower 4
From the Outlaw Trap bell, turn towards the cave guarded by the mounted enemy.
Defeat him and collect the flower beside the cave entrance. This is the same cave containing the Tunnel Crank and first Preservation Talisman Fragment.
Memory Flower 5
After defeating Jing Ye, leave his arena towards the bodies hanging from the tree.
Before crossing the bridge towards Thieves’ Camp, drop onto the lower ledge on the right. Collect the flower, then use the grapple points to return to the bridge.
Memory Flower 6
From Thieves’ Camp, follow the path towards Quick Hand Zhang’s hideout. Below the hideout, take the wooden walkway along the cliff.
Follow the rock face to the cave entrance where two people are standing. The flower is immediately inside on the left.
Memory Flower 7
Requires access to the Cliffside Lodge cellar. From the lodge, descend through the crank-operated opening and continue to the lowest floor.
Clear the enemies and follow the ground-level passage to the back chamber. The flower is beside a breakable wall that cannot be opened during this visit.
Memory Flower 8
From the Cliffside Lodge bell, follow the onward path around the right side of the building and continue through the story scene.
The flower is directly ahead afterwards, beside the Mirrorwood Entrance bell.
Memory Flower 9
Defeat Stone Hand Iron Fever below the Mirrorwood Entrance bell.
Search the far edge of his arena before leaving. The flower is near the outer boundary, away from the entrance ladder.
Memory Flower 10
From Stone Hand Iron Fever’s arena, face the exit ladder and take the cave passage on the right instead.
Follow the passage to the blue glow and collect the flower before continuing towards the grapple crossing.
Memory Flower 11
From the Burial Grounds bell, enter the nearby enemy area and look to the right.
Defeat the enemies around the flower and interact with it before continuing past the campfire.
Memory Flower 12
From the Burial Grounds bell, pass the campfire and head downhill. At the fork, take the left path into the fog.
Follow the route around to the right through the trees, then look left for the flower. Its blue glow is less distinct against the mist here.
Memory Flower 13
From the Parting Mists bell, descend towards the Banyan Tree and continue along the uphill path beyond it.
Use two grapple crossings, defeat the enemies along the upper path, and pass through the rock formations. Drop onto the ledge on the far side to find the flower.
Memory Flower 14
From the Mirrorwood Depths bell, look back towards the water crossing and the bird-filled approach.
The flower is directly in front of the bell on this side of the water.
Memory Flower 15
From the Mirrorwood Depths bell, turn right into the entrance to the mirror puzzle.
Collect the flower directly ahead before choosing a mirror.
Memory Flower 16
Complete the first mirror puzzle by listening for weeping and following the mirror carrying that sound.
After the mist clears, collect the first flower directly ahead on the newly opened path.
Memory Flower 17
After clearing the first mirror puzzle, follow the open path past the first flower.
The second flower is a short distance straight ahead, before the next mirror puzzle.
Medicine
Simmering Brew
After defeating the Sword Fanatic near the Pangzhen Bridge Overlook bell, continue across the bridge until it collapses.
Turn around and swing across to the lower path. Collect Simmering Brew directly ahead before entering the caves.
Kuye Dew
Requires the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank. Open the underground entrance beside the Outlaw Trap bell and descend the ladder.
Take the left-hand doorway into the room containing the Sha-Chi Amber Fragment chest. Descend from that room onto the lower balcony and collect the medicine.
Quick Hand Zhang’s Treasures
Collect these three treasures and return them to Quick Hand Zhang at his hideout above Thieves’ Camp to receive the Flying Dagger.
Sect Leader’s Snuff Bottle
Requires the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank. Open the entrance beside the Outlaw Trap bell and descend underground.
Take the right-hand route across the bridge, pass the wounded man sitting against the wall, and continue through the passage. Defeat the enemy guarding the chest and collect the treasure.
Bloodstained Seal
From Thieves’ Camp, follow the wooden walkway along the cliff below Quick Hand Zhang’s hideout.
Enter the cave beyond the two people standing outside. Continue past the Memory Flower, defeat the enemies in the next chamber, and open the chest on the right.
Ancient Crossbow
Requires the Thieves’ Camp Dungeon Key. From the Thieves’ Camp bell, descend the passage to the locked dungeon entrance and open it.
The wounded man is on the left just inside. Search to the right for the treasure chest and collect the Ancient Crossbow.
Keys and Other Important Items
Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank
From the Outlaw Trap bell, head towards the mounted enemy and the cave beside the Memory Flower.
Defeat the enemies inside and collect the crank from the floor. Use it on the mechanism beside the bell to open the underground passage.
Honor Among Thieves
From the cave containing the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank, head outside and turn right up the grassy hill.
Defeat the enemy at the top to begin the Tale. Later, speak to the Gentle Thief in the wooden hut at Thieves’ Camp and answer his questions to receive Silent Wrap.
Forest Outpost Courtyard Key
From Thieves’ Camp, follow the cliffside walkway and pass through the cave containing the Bloodstained Seal.
Climb out of the cave to reach the large locked gate. Turn away from the gate, pass the hole in the ground, and climb the nearby stairs into the enemy camp.
Enter the building at the back and collect the key beside the flames. Return to the gate and unlock it to reach the Red Serpent House bell.
Crimson Forest Cellar Crank
From the Cliffside Lodge bell, climb the ladder at the back of the lodge.
Defeat the enemy hiding among the boxes upstairs, enter the room on the left, and step onto the balcony. Collect the crank, then return to the ground floor and use it on the mechanism inside the lodge to open the cellar.
Crimson Forest Secret Chamber Crank
Requires access to the Cliffside Lodge cellar. Descend through the opening inside the lodge and pass the first enemy.
Drop onto the wooden platform below, turn around, and enter the enclosed space beneath the upper platform. Collect the crank on the right, beside the chest containing a Blackstone Fragment.
Thieves’ Camp Dungeon Key
From the lower floor of the Cliffside Lodge cellar, leave the chamber containing the Memory Flower and climb the scratched wall on the left.
Go up the stairs, then drop onto the ledge below. Collect the golden pickup to obtain the key.
Return to Thieves’ Camp and use it to open the dungeon entrance down the descending passage from the bell.
Cave Prison Key
Requires access to the Thieves’ Camp dungeon. Enter using the Dungeon Key, pass the wounded man and Ancient Crossbow chest, and descend into the lower camp.
Defeat the enemies to obtain the Cave Prison Key. Climb back up the ladder and cross the small bridge to reach the locked cell containing a Sha-Chi Amber Fragment.
Before leaving Crimson Forest, return all three treasures to Quick Hand Zhang, collect Yu’er’s reward for treating the wounded, and finish the available Tale objectives. With those rewards claimed, you can continue the story and return later for the locations that remain inaccessible.
