Day 1
Revenant is extremely squishy early on, so never go in first to battles. However, she can clear enemy settlements with ease, as her passive Skill raises ghosts from defeated enemies, which will quickly turn the tide of battle in your favor.
On Day 1, you should immediately look for nearby small camps or settlements where you can take on weaker foes like soldiers and knights and easily level up to Lv 3. Try to improve your survivability through dormant powers and weapon passive effects, and get different Seals or Faith-scaling weapons with good Ashes of War.
You should equip any weapon with a suitable passive effect for your character, even if you won’t use said weapon.
Day 2
On Day 2, you should again travel around the map looking for any nearby settlements and dispatch them all. When both your Skills are active, your team can safely take down a stronger field Boss. You could even lure a Boss into a nearby settlement and raise friendly ghosts to fight against them.
By the end of Day 2, you should have multiple Seals that allow you to cast different incantations (we recommend combining AoE, high-range, and quick melee incantations).
Try to obtain a Revive Stone from merchants before Day 3, it’ll come in handy during Night Bosses.
Day 3
At day 3, remember to buy any suitable equipment with the leftover runes, upgrade your main weapon, and head on to face the Night Lord.
Revive Stones are particularly great with Revenant during Night Bosses and Night Lord fights since, that way, you can avoid using your Ultimate Skill for your own safety; instead utilizing it when both your teammates are down, and time it with your “Summon Spirit” Skill for maximum effect.
During boss fights, you want to keep your distance at all times, only going in and out of range to dish out damage while your minions do the work. When you’re targeted by attacks, always run away.
The Revenant’s playstyle greatly differs from any other class, as she acts more as a battle commander than a fighter; she only exposes herself when it is absolutely safe to do so. Knowing the Bosses’ attacks and patterns will allow you to safely cast more incantations, too, boosting your overall damage.
