Build Summary

Dance of Knives is an absolutely incredible skill for all types of content as it allows us to do damage while moving, something which was previously impossible on a Rogue. We make use of its incredible snapshotting capabilities by stacking multipliers that last for the entire channel duration.

Gameplay Loop

Cast Blade Shift until Asheara's Khanjar and Momentum are at max stacks.
Cast Dark Shroud.
Cast Cold Imbuement. Cast Shadow Imbuement while clearing on the Speedfarming version.
Cast Caltrops on Bosses and very tough Elite packs.
Cast Concealment to make your Dance of Knives apply Vulnerable and always Critical Hit and also to enable Aspect of Synergy.
Use 2 Health Potions to activate the Qax Rune and to enable Unstable Elixirs.
Cast Dance of Knives.
Cast Dark Shroud whenever it's up

Remember, if you get CCed or stop your channel you have to start your Preparations all over again.

How It Works

Dance of Knives is a skill with unbelievable mobility that, by virtue of it being a Channeling skill, is perfect for snapshotting powerful buffs onto its next cast.

It is important to note that we use Grenade Aspects because of a bug that causes Methodical Dance of Knives to give Dance of Knives the Stun Grenade tag.

The Yom rune, which casts Petrify, has the ability to proc Preparation and No Witness. This is great because Preparation resets the charges of Dance of Knives, allowing us to spin forever.

Another thing to mention is that Attack Speed breakpoints don't exist for Dance of Knives, instead Attack Speed acts as a straight damage multiplier.
