Build Overview
Overpower
Overpower has changed with the launch of the Lord of Hatred. It is no longer a multiplier, it acts as a buff to your damage. There are ways of taking that buff and turning it into multipliers with items like
Banished Lord's Talisman. The one thing that Overpower does is add a lot of additive damage. This is harder to come by, so it becomes a very valuable resource.
Depending on how you build your build, you will have several different ways of generating overpower. It will be important to maintain the buff. Your overpower buff will last for 4 seconds and then 1 stack will be removed. If you have something like
Blood Boiling Aspect and you pair it with
Dominate eventually will have stacks of overpower 100% of the time. This is just one example of how you can gain Overpower stacks.
If you want to learn the basics about Multipliers watch this video: Additive vs. Multiplicative Damage video.
How this build uses Overpower
This build will be running
Banished Lord's Talisman in your charm slow. This will give you 4 stacks of Overpower after spending 275 Fury. We are also gaining from
Blood Boiling Aspect which is our most important Aspect for this build. Because your stacks fall off one at a time every 4 seconds, every 6 seconds
Blood Boiling Aspect adds another rank of Overpower and you will never lose your stacks.
Mythic Variant
WARNING: Running
Melted Heart of Selig can be incredibly hard to manage. You will need very high Damage Reduction as well as insane Fury Generation.
For this set-up we are running
Harlequin Crest,
Ring of Starless Skies,
The Grandfather and the most important part of the build
Melted Heart of Selig.
Hammer of the Ancients scales it's damage through
Furious Hammer of the Ancients based on your Maximum Resources. With the changes to
Melted Heart of Selig we will see some big damage scaling. This is also pared with the updated
Ramaladni's Magnum Opus which has been changed to ALWAYS be active.
Fury Management
DO NOT SPAM HAMMER OF THE ANCIENTS UNLESS THERE ARE MONSTERS AROUND
Ultimate Selection
We are using
Highlander Call of the Ancients because of the significantly reduced cooldown. This allows you to cast
Call of the Ancients once every 6 seconds to maintain the attack speed and damage buff.

Weapon Master give you a damage bonus without swapping weapons.
Fury Management
Affixes
- Resource Generation will help increase the amount of Fury you gain and pairs really well with
Rallying Cry. - Fury Regeneration needs to be added onto the Helmet, Chest piece, Pants and Boots.
- Do not spam
Whirlwind if you are not near monsters if you can't maintain Fury.
