How it Plays
- Start by Dashing into the midst of enemies and strategically placing your Poison Trap.
- Then, channel your Imbue to enhance your attacks.
- Utilize the Twisting Blades technique to deal significant damage while employing your evasive maneuvers to dodge in and out of combat.
- Prioritize using your Dash and Shadow Skills, aiming to hit enemies as close to them as possible.
- Consistent attacking will aid in staggering opponents, and you'll find that most enemies stagger quite easily with this approach!
How it Works
The main strategy is to stun the boss by combining Dash, Shadow Step, and the clipshot malignant heart, which will effectively stagger the boss. Additionally, your character is incredibly tanky, allowing you to effortlessly take on enemies that are 20 levels higher than you, even as early as level 50!
Just be sure to swap in Shadow Imbument when facing mobs and Poison Imbue when facing bosses!
Dash Synergy
- When you use the Dash skill, it will automatically trigger the Aspect of Quickenings Fog effect at the end of the Dash.
- As a result, a Smoke Grenade will be dropped. The Smoke Grenade is considered a subterfuge skill, which will then trigger the Revenge Malignant Heart.
- This activation of the Revenge Malignant Heart will cause an area-of-effect (AOE) explosion using all the stored damage you have previously absorbed.
- Furthermore, the Aspect of Quickenings Fog has an additional benefit of reducing the cooldown of Dash. This reduction in cooldown allows you to use Dash fairly often, enhancing the synergy between the two skills.
As a result, this combination of Dash, Aspect of Quickenings Fog, and Revenge Malignant Heart not only provides you with a useful AOE attack but also improves your survivability and damage potential in combat!
Why 7 Skills
When using Dash, you will drop a Smoke Grenade, so you want to allocate 2 points to get the Enhanced Smoke Grenade as it will give you a 20% Increased Damage. You Dash quite a lot, so this buff has a good uptime
Aspect of Surprise
Similar to other parts of this build, both your Evade and Shadow Step skills have crowd control (CC) built in. Ideally, when fighting at close range, you want to use Evade because it grants a free 2-second stun on trash mobs while also dealing a significant amount of stun bar damage to bosses.
When using Shadow Step, take note that the bombs drop at the casting location, not where you Shadow Step to.
Therefore, it's essential to position yourself efficiently if you want to maximize the effectiveness of this build. Proper positioning will ensure that the bombs hit the intended targets and help control the battlefield effectively.
By incorporating Aspect of Surprise into your gameplay, you gain the advantage of crowd control and tactical positioning, allowing you to handle different combat situations with finesse and efficiency.
Unique System Swap
If you do not have Condemnation, be sure to drop Combo Points for Inner Sight. Regardless, you have insane amounts of CC while still having good single target or AoE damage (depending on which imbue is equipped at the time), and can get to World Tier 3 as early as level 55 with a little bit of effort.
