Build Overview

I will be updating it as I go during the Lord of Hatred launch.

And this one, which focuses on Spark early and transitions into Disintegration Incinerate as soon as its available.

Early on we can focus on maximizing Sparks damage which is currently calculating 450% at 5 shocks and the 1.5 multiplier it comes with. % size scaling also looks comfy and we do not have to worry about any mana cost, meaning little downtime. This will carry us until lvl 32 where we can switch to Disintegration Incinerate.

Disintegration Incinerate is extremely strong at low investment lvls and very easy to play even without any uniques or legendary aspects. Contrary to regular Incinerate we do not have to wait fro burning ticks to deal its damage, everything is immediate and very responsive.


The other puzzle pieces we want to use here are

  • Spark with the Electric Blast Spark upgrade as the AOE option until 32 and filler if we run out of mana.
  • Familiar for extra damage and healing as well as overpower generation, which we use to buff Incinerate as well as get 15% increase dmg per stack and use it for Blaze Teleport for incredible mobility.
  • Ice Armor for mana regen, unstoppable and barrier
  • Teleport for mobility & ferocity generation early for Spark attackspeed.
  • Unstable Currents as the moderate dmg burst with a long runtime and 20%x multiplier.

Build Variants

This part focuses on Arc Lash and Frozen Orb until you reach 14 and can use Electric Blast Spark until 32.

Our damage will primarly scale through Intelligence, cast speed, lightning damage, skill ranks, crit chance and crit damage.

For recovery we are looking at life on hit and life on kill. Mana regen is also something we should look into once we start using more mana.

This build also assumes you will find 0 Legendary Aspects or Uniques. If you happen to find any of the ones listed above, use them. Use any Legendary Aspect that seems useful to you, be it to increase your Survivability, Healing, Cooldown Management, Lightning Skills, or Basic Skills. Later, one we get our steup to a point of procing core skills constantly, we want to look into core skill ranks.

There are basically 0 gear requirements to make this work and we should look at scaling our damage and recovery as the primary focus when looking for upgrades.

Initially we lvl with Arc Lash and Frozen Orb. We transition to Electric Blast Spark at lvl 14 and do not look back.

Electric Blast Spark is our primary damage tool and we use it to proc as many of the other spells as possible.

Frozen Orb and Ball Lightning are both triggered by our enchantments.

Unstable Currents procs Chain Lightning, Charged Bolts, Lightning Spear and Ball Lightning.

We generate Overpower stacks through Familiar and Firewall and use it up with Blaze Teleport.

We geenrate Ferocity through Ball Lightning, Teleport and Unstable Currents for more attackspeed.

Mercenary

Varyana: Provides one with Attack and Movement Speed. Alternatively you can use Subo for a Maphack, Movement Speed and additional Vulnerability application. I recommand both, but switched to Subo at lvl 20 for the maphack.

Raheir: Provoke helps you survive. DR and taunt.

How it Plays

Use Arc Lash and Frozen Orb to deal damage until 14. Switch to Electric Blast Spark at 14.

Use Spark to deal damage. A lot of damage. Until 32.

Use Disintegration Incinerate after 32 to deal even more damage. Your Aoe will be worse, but your single target damage will skyrocket.

Use Unstable Currents for burst damage (20% multi)

Use Familiar for Overpower stacks and healing. Keep Overpower stacks up for more damage. 4 stacks are worth 60% + 20% chance to deal double damage with Overpower Incinerate.

Use Teleport to get to and away from enemies. This is for mobility. Blaze Teleport uses up your overpower stacks to reset its cooldown.

Use Ice Armor for defences and extra mana regen.
