Build Overview

This build is all about using Onslaughter for damage and it's multiple augments w/ Raging Inferno to ONE PUNCH enemies and melt bosses in a singular Onslaughter activation.

Bossing is based around Thermal Diffusion and mobbing is very flexible.

Strengths And Weaknesses

  • One punch enemies
  • Melt bosses
  • Great survivability
  • BIg armored bosses can be harder to kill but still possible

Action Skill:

Calamity - used for melee damage to ONE PUNCH ENEMIES with either high enough melee damage or with Raging Inferno DoT

Thermal Diffusion - used for bossing with a high capacity shield. The damage boost is additive with base onslaughter damage before the damage formula is applied making it VERY STRONG. My capacity is a little over 100k which adds about 20k additional base damage onto the 7k base damage

Pyroclast - great for mobbing as it keeps up our action skill. Do not need the damage from Thermal Diffusion as the Raging Inferno DoT will finish off the enemy.

Fellfrost and Fulminating Fist - solid mobbing damage. Although converted to fire because of Furnace effect. Fulminating Fist isn't the best but it is fun.

Stormcutter - Ranged melee application. Also helps with our Action Skill and Ordnance upkeep

Red Tree:

Discombobulate - increased crit chance for more Raging Inferno procs

Heavy Plate - increase shield for Thermal Diffusion

What Burns Within - increases Onslaughter damage

Gut Punch - Damage boost that double dips

Forged In Steel - Immunity to damage which helps survivability.

The Best Defense - Overshield for survivability

Catastrophe - Increased crit chance for proccing Raging Inferno. Shock part kept up from Electrical Fire DoT.

Fists of Stone - Using Slippy and Tempered Pyre you can easily keep up Stormcutter

Electrical Fire - Take our Raging Inferno and divide it by 50% and have a double dipped shock dot. Allowing us to easily cover shielded enemies. This skill itself does not double dip but if using a double dipping skill it takes that base damage. This is a key skill

Green Tree:

Executioner - crit damage applies to Raging Inferno

Gathering Storm - double dips into Raging Inferno but not around during bossing

Tempered Pyre and Twin Tempers - used to proc Gut Punch, Fists of Stone, and The Best Defense

Herald's Call - used to increase damage of Electrical Fire shock DoT

Raging Inferno - double dipping status effect skill. Does not benefit from skill damage. Carries bossing and makes mobbing very easy. This is a key skill

Wildheart - increased status damage for our DoTs

Guns:

You will want to hold any splash weapon to benefit from the gun splash damage bonus on your Enhancement. When holding a splash gun and having gun splash damage it will act as all damage dealt. Making it an excellent stat stick. I go with the Stellium which is a high DoT Maliwan Shotgun which is easy to use with the Primed Potency Enhancement. Solid to shoot with mobbing

Jakobs Pistol Vial Launcher Underbarrel - This damage boost is great for min maxing. You can shoot the vial at the enemy then swap to the splash gun.

Ordnance:

Slippy - procs Fists of Stone and Gut Punch. Get points with +1 charge

Shield:

Order Energy Shield Triple Turtle - Highest possible shield capacity found is around 65k. This is for Thermal Diffusion

Firewerks - great for mobbing. Can still use this with Thermal Diffusion even though the shield capacity is a lot lower.

Watts 4 Dinner - decent bonus element and survivability during mobbing.

Class Mod:

Melee Crit Chance or Skill Crit Chance is VERY noticeable and helpful as a passive. Gives consistency for DoTs which I prefer over basic soup damage boosts.

Furnace - points in Raging Inferno for stronger DoTs

Repkit:

Triple Bypass - used for Now With Caffeine to cycle Onslaughter

Get with Damage Dealt or Elemental Damage for min maxing damage that double dips into Raging Inferno

Enhancement:

Anything goes for enhancement that matches with your gun of choice as long as it has the gun splash passive

If going with my recommended gun of choice the Stellium then get the Primed Potency Enhancement.

2/3 Action Fist - great damage boosts

2/3 Reel Big Fist - great damage boosts

1/3 Baker - increased shield capacity for Thermal Diffusion

1/3 God Killer - used for good damage boost if not using Thermal Diffusion during mobbing.

Specialization

Specialization 1Now With Caffeine
Specialization 2A Honed Mind
Specialization 3The Best Defense
Specialization 4I Am A Gun

Now With Caffeine - cycle Onslaughter easily

A Honed Mind - more crit chance for proccing Raging Inferno

The Best Defense - damage boost that double dips

I Am A Gun - damage applies to our Action Skill

Gameplay

Mobbing:

Very simple. Activate Onslaughter and get punching!

Use Stormcutter to keep up your Action Skill and Ordnance

Throw Slippy to get back Stormcutter

Bossing:

Shoot Vial Launcher for damage boost.

Throw Slippy to apply Gut Punch

Activate Onslaughter and get punching!

When Onslaughter runs out use your Triple Bypass to quickly get back your action skill

Use Stormcutter whenever just not before punching as it could accidentally proc Electrical Fire which we want to keep for our big punches.
