Mimicon is located in the Tipping Points Bunker in Idolator's Noose in the Fadefields.
In order to gain access to Mimicron you will need to progress through the the One Fell Swoop mission.

Mimicron is a simple enemy yet with his Stealth and Clone abilities is also quite elusive.
What Happens: Mimicron disengages and turns invisible.
What to do: AoE damage will show the damage ticks at his location. There is also a shimmer that reveals his whereabouts though due to the low lighting of the boss arena this can be tricky to see at times.

Perhaps translucent is a better word for this.
What Happens: Mimicron creates a clone of himself that mimics most of Mimicron's attacks.
What to do: The Clone is squishy so make sure to kill the clone whenever he gets spawned asap to keep your focus on the original Mimicron boss. The clone is a green-ish colour and only has a shield healthbar.

This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them!
What Happens: Mimicron leaps towards you with a fast jump to attack.
What to do: Dodge by simply dashing to the sides or running away from it.

If the boss is ever in the air, he's coming your way.
What Happens: Mimicron uses his weapon to create a spinning attack which deals huge damage.
What to do: Keeping your distance will mean you only take one tick of damage from the spin. Fortuntely, as a melee only boss, you should be kiting him anyway. Be careful you don't backpedal on to a wall or box in the arena and get stuck.

The Clone can copy this too.
