The ideal is BIG Sniper damage with the Solar Temper - BEST OPTION, Torgue Impact Rolled Truck and Boomslang using "Refactored Damage Formula". Keep ammo regen with "Infinite Murder Hack". You get health steal via SPLASH Damage. With STACK OVERFLOW you want to use your VPN and trigger your EXECUTABLE (accelarat.exe), Thrown your grenade (anything that homes in on enemies will do). SHOOT YOUR SOLAR TEMPER THREE TIMES and then use the FUNCTION skill to hit for HUGE damage.

Montage Maker Class mod for CRAZY sniper boosts. 5 Points in Methodical. 1 Point in Refactored Damage Formula. 1 in whichever other skill, doesn't matter really.

Triple Bypass with AMP - OR - Purple Repkit with 2 charges with AMP and ENRAGE (OR SPLASH)

Torgue Enhancement with Headringer, Gun Damage and Gun Critical Damage or Splash Damage (for Jakobs weapons like the Truck and Boomslang)

POWER SHOT Order Enhancement if doing Solar Temper (Take gun damage and Mag size if you can)

Watts 4 Dinner with 1 Siphon and 1 Amp (at least). Firewerk Shield for heavier mobbing. You can genuinely leave the FIREWERK on all the time and it feels great, but for one on one bossing you might as well go Watts

Crit Knife will help you get crits, BUT I like the Allignment Grenade from the latest Vault Card. It does good damage and it homes in on enemies.

3 Active Fire and 2 Deadeye are best for maxing the Solar Temper Damage, BUT you can also use 3 High Cal and 2 Skill Craft or 2 Deadeye. Could even consider splash boosting firmware, but then you risk self-damage more.

Riddle you this with the crit knife applying dot should stay at a consistent 50 stacks, meaning 50% Gun damage boost. That in turn boosts I Am A Gun for more skill damage. Now with Caffeine to get back into your accelerate more often for big damage. I'm thinking HONED MIND might be strong, but I haven't earned enough SPEC POINTS to check yet.

Gameplay

But seriously: Solar Temper is probably your highest per shot damage, especially with 3/3 in Active Fire and Splash damage and Sniper Damage boosting gear. Truck and Boomslang for big damage with low fire rates. This boosts the damage from Methodical in the bottom left blue tree.

So, enter battle, toss Grenade. Apply dots. Pop Action Skill then press and hold the action skill button to trigger your executable to be able to shoot 3 times with bonus damage. With Merry Bandwidth you will instead get SIX shots with the accelerat.exe Capstone. That's 6 Shots with 250% Gun Damage, PLUS the bonus damage from Refactored Damage Formula and Methodical. With your RAM charged during this, you'll deal even more damage. Your elemental effects and Splash Damage will also heal you via Green Tree Skills. Every THREE SHOTS toss your FUNCTION skill (the whip) to hit for huge chunks of damage).

Since the BOD counts as Various Weapon types including Sniper, it's also a beast with Torgue Impact and an Elemental Roll for Loveless. But good luck farming a Bod with the right rolls.

If you need a sniper for faster fire rate for more up-close combat, the Abyss can be used as a burst fire machine. Just ignore the special ability.
