Champions Tier List for LoL Swarm S14
Swarm is finally out, and what a game mode it is! Swarm is part of Riot Games’ Summer event. This patch also released Aurora and made many changes to League of Legends in general.
While Swarm is only a limited event and extremely fun at the same time, it can be pretty frustrating to play if you don’t have many upgrades or if you’re new to Vampire Survivor and Bullet Heaven games. You can increase your chances of winning and completing the game by playing strong champions.
In this Mobalytics article, we will create a tier list for the Swarm champions, ranking them from S-C tier and showing you who the best champions are in the game mode. This is a for-fun game mode, and you can play any of the 9 champions, though, so pick who you like to play!

A Tier | Leona, Seraphine, Riven |
B Tier | Briar |
C Tier | Aurora, Jinx |
S Tier – Yasuo, Illaoi, Xayah
Yasuo
Admittedly, Yasuo is not the strongest early-game champion, but once you have some levels under your belt, he can be extremely strong. Just like Dory, make sure you’re always on the move to fully maximize your Tornados in-game!
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Yasuo.
- Yasuo’s Weapon. Upgrading your champion’s weapon for extra damage is always a good option.
- Ani-Mines. Drops mines as you move around the map. Yasuo needs to move around to become empowered, so these two go hand in hand.
- Bunny Crossbow. A potent weapon that helps to deal damage from enemies who are far away. It needs to be unlocked though.
- Cyclonic Slicers. Deals AOE damage that can also provide you with protection by knocking back enemies.
- Echoing Batblades. This weapon bounces of the walls and hits enemies. It’s good on Yasuo and it can help to kill enemies.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Ability Haste, Area Size, Critical Chance, Damage, Health Regeneration, and Projectiles.

Illaoi
Illaoi is a great champion for anyone who wants to quickly grind through levels. One thing that makes Illaoi so strong is her Ultimate. It can be used to quickly kill those mini-bosses that spawn on one another, and it is also really good if you get the Yuumi upgrade that gives Ult ability haste.
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Illaoi.
- Illaoi’s Weapon. Upgrading your champion’s weapon for extra damage is always a good option.
- Iceblast Armor. A strong AOE weapon that will help keep you and your allies alive. As Illaoi is a tank, the bonus tanky stats are quite useful.
- Radiant Field. It provides nearby damage to help you when you get into the melee range of the enemies.
- Statikk Sword. Stattik Sword is one of the best weapons in the game. It deals damage to multiple enemies at once, which helps clear the enemies.
- Vortex Glove. It deals AOE damage to enemies. It helps to deal damage to enemies from afar.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Ability Haste, Area Size, Crit Chance, Damage, Duration, and Experience (EXP).

Xayah
If you want to unlock Xayah, you need to do a lot of grinding. So it is a good thing that Riot Games made her quite strong in Swarm. In Swarm, Xayah is an S-Tier champion and she is really good in pretty much any team comp.
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Xayah.
- Xayah’s Weapon. Upgrading your champion’s weapon for extra damage is always a good option.
- Bunny Crossbow. A potent weapon that helps to deal damage from enemies who are far away. It needs to be unlocked though.
- Bunny Guns. Another good option to help with enemies who are in melee range.
- Bunny Mega Blast. It helps kill enemies from far away.
- UwU Blaster. It’s a good weapon for additional damage when entering melee range.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Ability Haste, Critical Chance, Damage, Duration, Pickup Radius, and Projectiles.

A Tier – Leona, Seraphine, Riven
Leona
Leona is the first A-Tier champion on our list. Leona is a super tank who can deal a lot of AOE damage with weapons and her E. Leona also has a built-in shield that deals damage. In the late game, it is really hard to kill Leona, making her ideal to survive in those tough battles.
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Leona.
- Leona’s Weapon. Upgrading your champion’s weapon for extra damage is always a good option.
- Radiant Field. It provides nearby damage to help you when you get into the melee range of the enemies.
- Iceblast Armor. A strong AOE weapon that will help keep you and your allies alive.
- Vortex Glove. Vortex Glove deals AOE damage to enemies. It helps to deal damage to enemies from afar.
- Cyclone Slicers. Deals AOE damage that can also provide you with protection by knocking back enemies.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Ability Haste, Area Size, Armor, Experience (EXP), Health Regeneration, and Maximum Health.

Seraphine
Seraphine can be one of the best utility champions in Swarm as her E ability is a shield. In the late game when you are grouping, you can constantly use your E to shield your allies and keep them alive. Having multiple Seraphines and a carry is really good!
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Seraphine.
- Seraphine’s Weapon. It is always a good option to upgrade your champion’s weapon for extra damage.
- Cyclone Slicers. Deals AOE damage that can also provide you with protection by knocking back enemies.
- Iceblast Armor. A strong AOE weapon that will help keep you and your allies alive.
- Radiant Field. It provides nearby damage to help you when you get into the melee range of the enemies.
- Vortex Glove. Vortex Glove deals AOE damage to enemies. It helps to deal damage to enemies from afar.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Ability Haste, Armor, Damage, Health Regeneration, Max Health, and Projectiles.

Riven
To unlock Riven, you need to do some grinding, and it is pretty worth it if you think about it. Riven can be a really good champion, especially when she gets some weapons and weapon upgrades. She has a built-in shield, which is really useful when it comes to surviving incoming damage.
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Riven.
- Riven’s Weapon. Upgrading your champion’s weapon for extra damage is always a good option.
- Blade-o-rang. Projectile throwing weapon that once upgraded can deal considerable AOE damage to a plethora of enemies at once.
- Cyclonic Slicers. Deals AOE damage that can also provide you with protection by knocking back enemies.
- Iceblast Armor. A strong AOE weapon that will help keep you and your allies alive. Good on champions that are tanky.
- Radiant Field. It provides nearby damage to help you when you get into the melee range of the enemies.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Ability Haste, Armor, Damage, Health Regeneration, Maximum Health, and Movement Speed.

B Tier – Briar
Briar
We’ve marked Briar as a B-tier champion. We could put her as a C-tier champion, but she is probably the most successful champion to play on the third map. Due to this, she can be quite useful, but outside of that she isn’t that strong.
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Briar.
- Briar’s Weapon. Upgrading your champion’s weapon for extra damage is always a good option.
- Ani-Mines. Drops mines as you move around the map.
- Anti-Shark Sea Mine. Explosives that bounce between enemies. Good in late game as it can continue bouncing for a while.
- Cyclonic Slicers. Deals AOE damage that can also provide you with protection by knocking back enemies.
- Statikk Sword. Stattik Sword is one of the best weapons in the game. It deals damage to multiple enemies at once, which helps clear the enemies.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Ability Haste, Area Size, Critical Chance, Damage, Health Regeneration, and Maximum Health.

C Tier – Aurora, Jinx
Aurora
The worst champion is Aurora. She is so weak, and her abilities are not strong at all. It does take a lot to grind her, so I don’t even think it is worth it in the end. She is also extremely squishy and not really worth playing on hard difficulties.
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Aurora.
- Aurora’s Weapon. Upgrading your champion’s weapon for extra damage is always a good option.
- Iceblast Armor. A strong AOE weapon that will help keep you and your allies alive. As this build is more defensive, it will be more useful and it scales with armor and health.
- Radiant Field. It provides nearby damage to help you when you get into the melee range of the enemies.
- Statikk Sword. Stattik Sword is one of the best weapons in the game. It deals damage to multiple enemies at once, which helps clear the enemies.
- Vortex Glove. Vortex Glove deals AOE damage to enemies. It helps to deal damage to enemies from afar.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Armor, Damage, Experience (EXP), Health Regeneration, Maximum Health, and Projectiles.

Jinx
The second champion we think is really weak is Jinx. Jinx can be a good champion in the early ranks, but her range and lack of defensive stats such as health, armor and a shield make her somewhat vulnerable and easy to take down.
Here are our recommendations for the best weapons for Jinx.
- Jinx’s Weapon. It is always a good option to upgrade your champion’s weapon for extra damage.
To get these weapon upgrades, you need to get Ability Haste, Area Size, Critical Chance, Damage, Duration, and Projectiles.
Learn how to unlock and play Jinx in Swarm.
In Conclusion
That sums up our recommendations and tier list of champions for Swarm. Make sure you play what you enjoy, and try to build the items we have recommended. The weapons we have listed are the best, so try to take them when you can.
What champions do you enjoy the most in this game? Even though everyone rates Jinx really low, I enjoy her quite a bit and feel she is underrated. When you have maxed defensive stats and damage in the store, then you can easily beat all the levels in the game.
