1. Smolder

The newest champion to come out is Smolder. Smolder has shown to be a good champion in the right hands, as he can dish out a lot of damage and run enemies down. However, he is one of the harder ADCs in the current meta. But, you can abuse your opponents who don’t know what he does!

Smolder does need some time to come online, but if you get an early lead on him, then he is really deadly. He shines in the later stages of the laning phase and in mid game team fights. If you want to master Smolder, make sure you first understand what each of his abilities do, and make sure you avoid wasting your dash ability as its your main form of self-peel.

Smolder Mid-Patch Stats:

  • It doesn’t appear that Smolder is getting any buffs or nerfs this patch.
  • Smolder win rate in patch 14.4 was 50.4%.
  • He had a 22.2% Pick Rate.
  • And his ban rate was 44.6%.
  • In Emerald+, Smolder was played 328,000 times.

2. Vayne

Vayne is the next champion on our list. Vayne is a very strong ADC with great scaling and carry potential. Getting one kill on Vayne early could enable you to snowball and gain a large lead over the enemy laners.

One reason why Vayne is so good is that hse is one of the few champions that can break through the enemy’s defensive stats easily. This is because Vayne is a very good scaling champion and her W breaks through the enemy’s armor. Games tend to last longer, and as many tanks abuse those “new” tank items, she can handle them as long as she can kite.

Vayne Mid-Patch Stats:

  • Vayne is getting nerfs. But she is still going to be great.
  • Vayne’s win rate in patch 14.4 was 52.9%.
  • She had a 10.5% Pick Rate in the ADC role.
  • Vayne had a 14.4% ban rate. Her ban rate is impacted by her popularity and strength in the Top Lane too.
  • In Emerald+, Vayne was played 155,000 times.

3. Senna

This champion is obviously one of the best champions in the game right now, and if you didn’t know who it was- where have you been hiding? Senna is a very dominant ADC and Support thanks to her great laning phase and her scaling power.

Senna basically has unlimited scaling. She can keep bullying the enemy down with her basic attacks and Q so she gets more and more stacks. She just needs to play aggressive and keep getting those stacks in the early and mid-game. Outside of the laning phase, she can use her Ultimate to protect her allies, and herself. As games tend to last longer right now, she can get so many stacks and become stronger and stronger.

Senna Mid-Patch Stats:

  • Senna is getting some nerfs this patch. But she will still be a strong ADC.
  • Senna’s win rate in patch 14.4 was 54.8%.
  • In the ADC role, Senna had a 6.9% Pick Rate.
  • Considering Senna is a good ADC and Support, she had a 16.2% ban rate.
  • In Emerald+, Senna was played 102,000 times.

4. Seraphine

The only AP champion on our list is Seraphine. Seraphine is a very good ADC who has a lot of poke and wave clear. She can spam her Q during the laning phase to push and poke the enemy at the same time.

While Seraphine doesn’t have the strongest early laning phase like some of the other champions on our list, she can start to be more aggressive when she has some levels under her belt. Outside of the laning phase, her Ultimate and poke is really strong. She can make plays with her team by aggressively using her Ultimate, and the follow up damage is quite high too.

Seraphine Mid-Patch Stats:

  • Seraphine is receiving some changes this patch.
  • Her win rate in patch 14.4 was 53.9%.
  • Seraphine had a 2.3% Pick Rate.
  • Seraphine also had a 1.5% ban rate. Even though she is picked in 3 lanes, there is no point banning her really.
  • In Emerald+, Seraphine was played 34,000 times.

5. Miss Fortune

And the final champion on our list is Miss Fortune. Miss Fortune is a strong laner with a dominant laning phase, thanks to her poke abilities and how obnoxious her playstyle can be. If you love abusing your lane opponents and poking people, why not give Miss Fortune a try this patch?

She is really good in the laning phase thanks to her basic attacks and Q. She can keep poking the enemy down, and once she has completed her first item, her poke and all-in potential increases dramatically. Outside of the laning phase, she is also great too thanks to the AOE Ultimate which can shred through enemies.

Miss Fortune Mid-Patch Stats:

  • There are no changes going Miss Fortune’s way on patch 14.4.
  • She had a win rate of 52.3% in patch 14.4.
  • Miss Fortune had a 7.7% Pick Rate.
  • There is no point banning Miss Fortune. She only had a 4.4% ban rate.
  • In Emerald+, Miss Fortune was played 114,000 times.

Final Thoughts

There are a lot of strong champions that can be played in the ADC role right now, and unfortunately, we could only pick 5 of them. That isn’t to say these are the best nor the worst S-tier picks, but if you main or pick up anyone of these champions this patch- expect yourself to climb fast.
