Senna Matchups Overview

Senna General information

Senna tips and tricks

Do not use your Ultimate Dawning ShadowR mid-combo. It takes some time to charge up, and you’ll be exposed to enemy CC and damage. You will also miss out on an auto-attack or two- which may make all the difference in a fight.

Do not use your Curse of the Black MistE unless you’re being ganked. It’s not a good ability to use mid-combo, and it costs a lot of mana and doesn’t really help when fighting.

At level 1, try to be as aggressive as possible and get as much damage down on the enemy laners as possible.

The Best Senna Builds, Runes and Items for Support in Emerald +

Most Popular

If you want to use the most popular Senna Support build, you should take Flash and Heal as your Summoner Spells. For runes, you should pick Summon Aery as your keystone, followed by Manaflow Band, Transcendence and Scorch in the primary tree, as well as Font of Life and Revitalize in the secondary tree. For rune shards, you want Attack Speed in offense, Adaptive Force in flex and Health in defense, though it depends on the matchup. Finally, for your items, you should build Dream Maker as your first item, followed by Boots of Swiftness and Echoes of Helia. For your last 3 items, you should build Moonstone Renewer, Dawncore and finish with Vigilant Wardstone. For the skill order, you want to stick with Q - W - E. Right now, this build has 53.4% winrate over 141 158 matches played.

Optional

Your second option for Senna Support build would be to take Flash and Heal as your Summoner Spells. The runes that this build takes advantage of are Fleet Footwork as your keystone, Presence of Mind, Legend: Alacrity and Cut Down in the primary tree, and Bone Plating with Revitalize in the secondary tree. The shards used in this build are Attack Speed in offense, Adaptive Force in flex and Health Scaling in defense. The items for the build are Bloodsong, which you should build first, followed by Boots of Swiftness as your second item and Black Cleaver as your third item. The rest of the items in order are Rapid Firecannon, Edge of Night and Infinity Edge. The skill order for this build is Q - W - E. In the current patch, this build has a 54.0% win rate over 9 420 matches.

Alternative

If you're looking for alternatives, you can use Flash and Heal as your Summoner Spells, with runes being Grasp of the Undying as your keystone, Font of Life, Bone Plating and Revitalize in the primary tree, and Presence of Mind with Legend: Alacrity in the secondary tree, as well as Attack Speed, Adaptive Force, and Health as your rune shards. The items that this build incorporates are Bloodsong as your first item, then Boots of Swiftness as a second item and Black Cleaver as a third item. You want to finish the build with Rapid Firecannon, Edge of Night and Vigilant Wardstone. As far as ability max order goes, you want to keep it Q - W - E. This build is currently sitting at a 54.3% win rate across 9 056 matches played.

The last 3 options are Moonstone Renewer, Dawncore and Vigilant Wardstone. The ability order for this build is Q - W - E. As of the current patch, this build has a 54.7% win rate over 5 667 matches played.

Situational Senna Runes and Items

Depending on the context of your game, your matchup, and enemy champions, you might want to consider building some situational items or take specific runes. Carefully examine your team, enemy team, game state , and your matchup to plan your Senna build accordingly! For example, when it comes to rune shards, you might want to take either Armor or Magic Resist, depending on which champion you are about to lane against.
