The Top 5 Best Rogue Builds (Season 2, Diablo 4)

We’ve compiled a list of the top 5 Season 2 Rogue builds from our Tier List.

For each one, we’ll give a description of how it works along with an overview of its core build sections.

However, for a full look at how to play the build to its potential, make sure to hit the buttons to see the full builds.

1. Poison Tank

Poison Tank is built around Poison Imbuement’s insane damage output – by using Bursting Venoms you can constantly reset Imbuement’s cooldown (which is otherwise a long CD).

Overall, through the use of aspect synergies and stat scaling, you can really produce devastating power.

So if you’re looking to apply as much poison as possible, while dashing/Shadow Stepping around enemy packs, all while dropping Smoke Grenades and casting Puncture/Twisting Blades, this is the build for you.

2. Sanctum’s Twisting Blades – Dash Junkie

Want to use one of the most mobile meta builds in Season 2? Look no further!

Sanctum’s Twisting Blades (aka Dash Junkie) is insanely fun as you can constantly lower your Dash cooldown to cast it as much as possible.

Its core gameplay loop is throwing a Smoke Grenade onto ranged enemies, Dashing onto enemies you didn’t Smoke Grenade, followed by Caltrops into another Dash, into a 3 Puncture + 1 Twisting Blade rotation, with a Shadow Step at the very end to remove CC or more mobility.

3. Flurry Rapid Fire

This meta Rogue build involves using Stealth alongside Lethal Dusk and Concealment which provide a ton of healing.

To synergize with this, we add Flickerstep and Preparation in combination with Shadow Clone and the Legendary Node, No Witness for scaling multiplicative damage.

In summary, your loop consists of casting Shadow Imbuement into Rapid Fire, then Evading towards enemies to cast 2x Flurry and another Rapid Fire. Rinse and repeat!

4. Sanctum’s Barrage – Stealth Bomber

This is another build that makes use of Stealth with Lethal Dusk + Concealment for healing but leans more into the Cold archetype.

The core combinations are Cold Imbuement and Frostbitten with Penitent Greaves and Artful Initiative.

In general, your rotation includes a ton of Shadow Imbuement into Blade Shift, Barrage, and Cold Imbuement – rinse and repeat!

5. Death Trap

If you’re looking to play into the Rogue’s trap theme, Death Trap is a great meta option.

To maximize as many Trap Skills as you can, the build also involves Frostbitten to keep enemies frozen and Exposure to reset your Poison Death Trap.

A normal rotation will include Dashing onto an Elite, dropping Death Trap and Poison Trap, followed by spamming Twisting Blades, and lastly, Poison Trap.
