Last Rite is an Operator with great single-target damage, but her teambuilding requirements are more strict compared to other Operators on launch.

Best Teams
Last Rite
Xaihi
Fluorite
Ardelia
Last Rite is already very efficient at applying Cryo Inflictions with her Battle Skill, so the rest of the team can be used for support.
Xaihi Amps with her Ultimate, heals, and applies Cryo Infliction.
Fluorite Combo and Ultimate provide extra Cryo Infliction (no SP needed just Cooldown). Lastly,
Ardelia provides Arts Susceptibility and even more healing.
The only Operator that might be tough to get is
Xaihi. If you don't have her, you can replace her with:
Perlica - More buffing through Electrification (Combo / SP Free) and Corrosion when paired with Fluorite (albeit very SP costly)
Estella - Extra Cryo Infliction
Snowshine - Cryo Infliction but dependent on enemy attacking
Yvonne Team
Interestingly enough, Last Rite is a great teammate for Yvonne, but not vice versa. If you want Last Rite to deal the most damage, you do not want
Yvonne. But you can enable your Yvonne with Last Rite's Cryo application.

Best Weapons and Gear
Weapons
Best-in-Slot:
Khravengger
Alt:
Sundered Prince
Alt:
Seeker of Dark Lung
Last Rite’s Signature Weapon is by far the best option for her. It provides a lot of Cryo DMG that scales even further with the number of Cryo Inflictions on the enemy. Making her Combo Skill hits even harder. It’s highly recommended to get her Signature if you want to play around her.
Sundered Prince is an alternative option that provides a lot of ATK for her, but requires Last Rite to be the controlled operator. If that’s also not an option for you, Seeker of Dark Lung can help with some Ultimate Energy Generation and ATK.
Note: Seeker of Dark Lung is more than enough if using for Yvonne team.
Gear
- Gear Set:
Tide Surge - Armor:
Bonekrusha Poncho - Gloves:
Tide Surge Gauntlets - Kit 1:
Hanging River 02 Tube - Kit 2:
Hanging River 02 Tube
Tide Surge is the only option for Last Rite, as it synergizes perfectly with her. No reason to use anything else.
Tide Fall Light Armor is also an option for some extra Ultimate Gain Efficiency. If you're using
Seeker of Dark Lung and have Essences to increase the Ultimate Gain, Bonekrusha Poncho will provide slightly more damage.
Skill Priority
Combo Skill >= Ultimate > Battle Skill > Basic Attack
Level up skills according to your resources, focusing on Combo Skill and Ultimate since these are Last Rite’s main sources of damage.
Potential
- P1 Undertaker's Gift
- P2 Absolute Zero Armament
- P3 Overlord of Winter
- P4 Sincere Wake
- P5 Winter is Returning
Last Rite’s Potentials are surprisingly underwhelming. All of them increase Last Rite’s Damage, but only Potential 3 onwards stands out, since they increase the damage of her Combo Skill, reduces the Ultimate Cost (which is massive) and also returns extra SP after using her Battle Skill, meaning more Cryo Inflictions.
Keep in mind that vertically investing in Arknights Endfield is not recommended and you should treat these as a bonus damage/utility for your Operator.
How to Play
Last Rite is a Cryo Operator that wants as many Cryo Inflictions as possible so you can play around her Combo Skill. It consumes Cryo Inflictions from enemies, dealing damage, generating Ultimate Energy and applying Cryo Susceptibility. But to trigger it, the enemy must have 3 or more Cryo Inflictions and the damage, Ultimate Energy and Susceptibility scales with the number of Cryo Inflictions consumed.
Her Battle Skill helps with this, as it allows the Controlled Operator’s next Final Strike to apply Cryo Infliction. But that’s her only source of Cryo Infliction, meaning that to achieve 3 or more Inflictions you will need a lot of extra sources.
The Ultimate also deals a lot of damage but has a high energy cost. Last Rite’s Combat Talents increases the Ultimate Damage if the enemy is under Cryo Susceptibility, so using it after your Combo Skill is highly recommended.
The gameplay plan is really simple: Use her Battle Skill and other Operators to stack as many Cryo Inflictions as you can and use her Combo Skill to cash out. If the Ultimate is available, use it right after her Combo Skill for massive damage. Repeat as many times as needed.
All of this makes Last Rite a character that wants a whole team built just for her. It is rewarding since her Single-Target damage potential is insanely high, but the problem is that outside of Single-Target Content, she’s not going to perform well.
Release Date
Last Rite will release on January 22nd, 2026 along with the release of Arknights: Endfield.
She is a Standard Operator, meaning she is permanently available through the gacha system.
