Chen Qianyu Ember Akekuri Endministrator

F2P Friendly team focused on Vulnerable applications. Akekuri highly benefits from the increased stagger Ember can apply to enemies, but you can also replace her with other options depending on your availability, such as Catcher, Ardelia, Gilberta, Lifeng or Pogranichnik.

Ember Lifeng Chen Qianyu Endministrator

Another variation of the above team that uses Lifeng and Chen for Vulnerable applications and Endministrator to burst. Due to fact all characters can apply Physical Status on the enemy, you can use Swordmancer on all 4 operators and deal a lot of extra stagger to enemies. Ember can also make better use of Sundered Prince for maximum stagger application.

Weapons

• Best-in-Slot: Sundered Prince
• Alt: Thunderberge
• Alt: Finishing Call

If you’re on-fielding Ember (you should), Sundered Prince is the best option for her. It’s great for both the increased damage and utility it provides. It gets even better if you pair with the Swordmancer set for maximum stagger application.

If you want to go for a more “traditional” setup, both Thunderberge and Finishing Call increase Ember’s healing and shielding potential.

General Use

• Gloves: Swordmancer TAC Gauntlets T1
• Kit 1: Eternal Xiranite Power Core
• Kit 2: Eternal Xiranite Power Core

Ember protects herself after every Combo and Battle Skill, making it easier to trigger this set and keep a high uptime on it. It's important to keep in mind that Eternal Xiranite can't stack, so if someone else on your team is already using it (e.g.: Ardelia, Gilberta), it might be better to use another set on Ember.

Max Stagger

• Gear Set: Swordmancer
• Armor: Swordmancer Heavy Armor
• Gloves: Swordmancer TAC Gauntlets T1
• Kit 1: Swordmancer NAV Beacon
• Kit 2: Swordmancer NAV Beacon

Ember can apply a lot of Stagger with her Final Strike and Battle Skill. Also, as a great sword user, she can make use of Sundered Prince to maximize the stagger application. All of this can benefit from Swordmancer for faster Stagger windows. Tests done against Marble Aggelomoirai shows that it's possible to perma-stagger it with proper rotations and using Swordmancer on every operator.

It's important to note that the efficiency of Stagger builds remains to be seen, and the viability could change in future versions of the game. It's still one of the best ways Ember can provide utility for your team, as Eternal Xiranite is usually being used by someone else.

Max Sustain (Not Recommended)

• Gear Set: LYNX
• Armor: LYNX Heavy Armor
• Gloves: LYNX Gauntlets
• Kit 1: LYNX Aegis Injector
• Kit 2: LYNX Aegis Injector

If you want to maximize Ember’s Heal Potential, LYNX is the best option. It's far from recommended as the current content doesn't give enough reasons to focus on sustain, and it's much better to make use of Ember stagger potential instead.

Combo Skill = Ultimate > Basic Attack = Battle Skill

Level up her Combo Skill first for increased healing. Everything else is for damage, and it’s low priority compared to your DPS Operator's skills.

Ember Potentials increases her healing and damage reduction effects, making their value dependent on the content and the player. Potential 5 is the most noticeable one, as it adds an ATK% buff to her Ultimate.

Keep in mind that vertically investing in Arknights Endfield is not recommended and you should treat these as a bonus damage/utility for your Operator.

Ember gameplay is really straightforward, you just walk to enemies and they tremble in fear of what’s to come. She gets increased ATK by taking damage from enemies, can retaliate using her Battle Skill and doing so inflicts increased stagger to enemies. 

And you shouldn’t worry about dying, as Ember’s Combo Skill can heal the controlled operator and she takes reduced damage whenever she uses her Battle or Combo Skill. Not enough? Her Ultimate can Shield every teammate based on her Max HP while also dealing damage to enemies.

But as any “Jack of all trades”, there’s nothing outstanding about her. For the amount of utility she provides using a single slot of your team, she’s amazing, and she will fill that final slot in your team while you’re waiting for a specific operator.

Ember will release on January 22nd, 2026 along with the release of Arknights: Endfield.

Ember is a Standard Operator, meaning they are permanently available through the gacha system.
