Akekuri is a 4-Star Heat Vanguard that excels at generating SP for your Team by using her Combo Skills and Ultimate. After unlocking her Talent Skill, her Ultimate also provides the Link Effect, which increases the Damage of the next Battle Skill or Ultimate used by the team. Being a 4-Star Unit means that she’s easily accessible and it’s likely that you will unlock her Potentials, which provides even more Utility for your team.

Wulfgard
Akekuri Flex
F2P Friendly Laevatain team using Akekuri for SP generation. Flex Slot can be anything depending on your availability and what content you’re playing. You can use Ardelia for Sustain and Buffs, Gilberta for Grouping or Antal for a more F2P approach.
Wulfgard
Perlica
Akekuri
Antal
F2P Team that uses Wulfgard as your main DPS.
Akekuri - Flex - Flex - Flex
Akekuri Combo Skill doesn’t rely on any specific Team Composition, as the trigger is building up Stagger, which is something all Operators are able to do. This makes her a really flexible Operator that provides SP for any team.
Best Weapons and Gear
Weapons
- Best-in-Slot:
OBJ Edge of Lightness - Alt:
Thermite Cutter
OBJ Edge of Lightness is the Best Option for Akekuri, since it gives her Secondary Attribute (so more Intellect for her Talent) and Heat/Electric DMG% for your Team. If your team can’t make use out of the Heat/Electric DMG%, Thermite Cutter is another option as it gives an ATK% boost for your Team, but Akekuri will lose both Agility and Intellect.
Gear
- Gear Set:
Frontiers - Armor:
Frontiers Armor T3 - Gloves:
Eternal Xiranite Gloves - Kit 1:
Frontiers Extra O2 Tube - Kit 2:
Hanging River 02 Tube
As a Vanguard Unit that focuses on generating SP through her Combo Skill, the Frontiers 3pc Set is the best option for her, as it lowers the Cooldown of her Combo Skill and it provides a team-wide 18% DMG Buff for 12s. The Frontiers Extra O2 Tube Kit gives both Intellect and Secondary Stat, meaning even more Intellect to her. It’s really important to stack as much Intellect as you can on her, since her Combat Talent increases the SP generation based on her Intellect (Caps at 500 Intellect).
Skill Priority
Ultimate > Combo Skill >= Basic Attack = Battle Skill
Upgrading her Ultimate is your top priority as it increases the SP recovery of each Flare. Everything else is purely for Damage which is not Akekuri’s Priority.
If you want to, you can level up her Combo Skill since you’ll use a lot of it. Battle Skill is just a source of Heat Infliction on enemies, but you should prioritize spending your SPs on your DPSs.
Potential
- P1 Positive Feedback
- P2 Passionate Idealist
- P3 Committed Team Player
- P4 Super Perfect Status
- P5 Tempo of Awareness
Unlocking Akekuri’s Potential will be relatively easy since she’s a 4-Star Unit and they add extra buffs for your team. Potential 1 is only for her Damage, which is minimal, but starting from Potential 2 she gets stats and new effects for her Ultimate that enhances the Damage of your team. These buffs include extra Intellect (for increased SP Regeneration), an ATK% Buff, lower cost on her Ultimate and extended duration on her Link buff.
How to Play
Akekuri’s Utility comes from using her Combo Skill and Ultimate and you should use them whenever you need to recover SPs.
Her Combo Skill can be triggered by any Operator or Team, since it only requires hitting Stagger Nodes or Staggering enemies. This also makes her a bit “slow” since there’s no way to “force” this SP recovery as it relies on building up Stagger in order to trigger her Combo Skill.
Her Ultimate fires 3 flares and each one will recover SP for your team, so use whenever you need SP for more Battle Skills.
Release Date
Akekuri will release on January 22nd, 2026 along with the release of Arknights: Endfield.
Akekuri is a Standard Operator, meaning they are permanently available through the gacha system.
