Innate: Channelers gain 20% additional Mana from all sources.
Your team gains Mana Regen, increased for Channelers.
Here's a rundown of the traits you can branch into from Channeler:
Mordekaiser is a tough frontliner with a very sturdy ability. After casting Indestructible he gains a Shield that scales with AP, followed by even more Shield over the duration. It also deals magic damage to enemies in range.
At the end of the ability, any remaining Shield converts into a percentage of healing, helping to ensure it doesn't go to waste. Mordekaiser will certainly get in the way of his enemies.
Zoe's Paddle Star fires at a target, dealing magic damage to the first foe hit, along with any enemies hit in the crossfire. Once the missile arrives at its destination, it speeds up and redirects to a distant enemy.
It's a fun splashy ability, and could certainly make Zoe a solid AP backliner.
Viktor can create Psionic Storms that home-in on his enemies. These expand and grow over time, dealing AoE magic damage to foes within (more to those closest to the center). Seems simple, but reliable.
Aurelion Sol's Deathbeam is a channeled ability that fires a line towards the target, while dealing magic damage over time to all enemies hit.
What makes it particularly strong is that it ignores a portion of the enemy's Magic Resist, letting Aurelion Sol break through bulkier foes. Definitely a great asset for backline carry!
Bard is the fun top-end unit for the Meeple comp. His Ultra Friend Object ability summons a flying saucer, dealing magic damage over time to the target and enemies within range. It also deals more to Tanks.
Beyond his combat abilities, Bard also has the chance to "abduct" foes that die underneath the UFO. If this occurs, it creates a 1-star copy of the unit onto your bench. This could be quite powerful depending on what you get!
