TFT New Mechanic for Set 17: Realm of the Gods

TFT Set 17: Space Gods is shaking things up by replacing a core mechanic with a brand new interactive experience.

In this set, carousel rounds are no more, and instead players will visit the Realm of the Gods! Let's dive in and explore how this works.

At the start of each game, you'll randomly encounter two of the nine Gods. Each God has its own set of unique blessings that they offer.

In the earlier rounds they will provide minor rewards, but once you reach 4-7, you'll receive a Boon corresponding to the God you aligned with.

During each "carousel round" (2-4, 3-4, 4-4), you will instead find yourself transported into the Realm of the Gods. It is here that you get to choose a minor blessing.

Additionally, Pengu will grant rewards based on your current placement. While we don't know the specifics, it's mean't to simulate the usual catch-up mechanics, giving you more when you're behind.

The blessing you decide on will also earn you favor with that God, up until the end of 4-4. Whichever God has been chosen more will determine the Boon you receive at 4-7.

On top of that, you'll be able to repeatedly spend 1 Gold to reroll for smaller rewards (such as components) alongside the Boon.

Afterwards, all future "carousel rounds" will simply offer you a selection of items to choose from (without entering into the Realm of the Gods).

• Ahri - God of Opulence
• Aurelion Sol - God of Wonders
• Ekko - God of Time
• Evelynn - God of Temptation

• Thresh - God of Pacts

• Yasuo - God of the Abyss

These are the blessings you receive on 4-7, depending on the God you chose to align with. Please keep in mind that things are always changing (especially going into PBE), so take everything with a grain of salt.

Ahri - God of Opulence

• Gain 2 gold, 2 XP, and 2 rerolls each round.

Aurelion Sol - God of Wonders

• Choose one of three trials to prove yourself to Aurelion Sol.

Ekko - God of Time

• Gain the Anomaly item, which provides unique bonuses based on role.

Evelynn - God of Temptation

• Your team gains 10% Durability. Lose an additional 1 health when you lose combat.

Kayle - God of Order

• Upgrade a random completed item to Radiant.

Soraka - God of Stars

• Team gains 2 HP per missing Tactician health. +1 current and max health Tactician each round.

Thresh - God of Pacts

• After each player combat, roll a die. Gain rewards based on the result.

Varus - God of Love

• Your team gains 10 health for each total star level in your army. Increase your 5 cost odds by 4%.

Yasuo - God of the Abyss

• Increase the power of Yasuo's hexes by 50%. If you only have 2 hexes, gain 12 gold.
