[3.28] Lolcohol Kinetic Fusillade Warden

This is my Kinetic Fusillade Warden guide for PoE 3.28 Mirage League.

Gem Imbue Options

Damage

• Increased Critical Damage Support
• Power Charge On Critical Support
• Increased Critical Strikes Support (gets you Crit Capped easily)
• Elemental Damage with Attacks Support
• Volley Support or Multiple Projectiles Support for additional Projectiles. Just make sure to swap your main Support from Greater Volley to Greater Multiple Projectiles Support if you get Volley Support as an imbue (and vice versa with Multiple Projectiles/Volley) since these Gems no longer stack with one another.
• Swift Affliction Support for even more Less Skill Effect Duration

Utility

• Elemental Proliferation Support is my favourite - your Freeze/Shock/Ignites spread
• Unbound Ailments Support for longer duration of Ailments

There are plenty of other options that are good, but some are straight up bricks

Why Warden?

1. Warden has massive burst damage that compensates for the loss of Grafts. The uptime on Tinctures and Unbound Avatar are very high too.

2. Oath of Winter/Unbound Avatar Permafreeze: a defensive layer that doesn't show up in PoB is Freeze, which this build will do to everything.

3. It's different. I played Elementalist, Scion and Oshabi on KF last league and wanted to play something different.

Important: Immolate Support

Just make sure that you have high Crit Chance and a source of Fire Damage on your build if you're going to use Immolate Support, otherwise you won't ignite and it wont do anything. You can do this by using Anger instead of Wrath or getting Flat Fire Damage to Attacks on gear/your Wand.

If you aren't Igniting or don't have a source of Flat Fire Damage, use Added Lightning Damage Support or Added Cold Damage Support being careful to not throw out the balance of your Trinity Support

Burst

The Warden has some excellent sources of burst damage that are useful when fighting tanky rares and bosses

1. Tincture
2. Avatar of the Wilds
3. Sigil of Power can also be pressed - stand in the ring, spend Mana, do more damage

Kinetic Fusillade

Firstly, read the Skill Gem from top to bottom.

This Skill has a very unique function that makes it unlike other skills, and it's important to understand the following points to get the rapid-fire feeling without the delay

Early Kinetic Fusillade

Early on, do not worry about the Gattling Gun feel of Kinetic Fusillade - just stack as much Attack Speed, Reduced Skill Effect Duration and Projectiles (up to a max of either 6 or 12). You shouldn't be concerned with Attack Speed caps like you will need to after transitioning to the next version of the build

Gattling Gun Mode

The main thing is to have your Attack Speed SLOWER than your Duration on the Skill. Once you have the minigun version and start adding more projectiles, there's some complex maths that is involved in making sure you're firing off the maximum number of projectiles without dropping any additional projectiles per attack. Nemrod has created some documents to help with this:

You might need to remove some Attack Speed from your gear to balance this out. It's much easier to lower your Attack Speed than it is to get more Reduced Duration, so unspeccing nodes like Wandslinger and taking the left path of the Disintegration wheel instead of the right can help lower it further. Try to not have #% increased Attack Speed on your Wand if you're really struggling to reduce your Attack Speed

Additional Projectiles

Adding additional Projectiles will cause KF to produce additional projectiles per Attack. Before getting the "minigun" feel of the skill, this will mean you need to perform fewer Attacks to get to max projectiles before releasing. After getting the minigun version, you will fire off as many projectiles as you generate per attack without waiting for the maximum. This is important to understand because the more projectiles we fire, the more #% More damage we get for additional projectiles (read the Skill Gem)

How to Adjust Attack Speed

To lower Attack Speed

• Path on the left side of the Wand wheel, instead of the right, at the top of the Tree that contains Fusillade and Disintegration
• Remove the Wandslinger wheel
• Get a Timeclasp and Warped Timepiece with the lowest possible Reduced Skill Effect Duration, but also very low increased Attack Speed
• Make sure your Wand doesn't have any Attack Speed on it (this will massively increase your Attacks per Second)
• Allocate the Depth Perception wheel instead of Acuity
• Don't add quality to Lightning Golem, or lower the level of Lightning Golem
• Remove Blood Rage if you are still using it for some reason
• Remove sources of Frenzy Charges
• Remove sources of Onslaught such as with a Silver Flask

To increase Attack Speed:

In order to increase your Attack Speed, just do the opposite of the above (except make sure that your Timeclasp and Warped Timepiece still have the lowest possible Reduced Skill Effect Duration). Other suggestions

• Add Speed Quality to Warped Timepiece with Accelerating Catalysts (or Abrasive if you are playing SSF and don't have enough Accelerating)

WHICH PANTHEON!?

• Brine King (Stun Avoidance) and make sure to upgrade for Freeze Immunity
• Ralakesh: Bleed Avoidance

WHICH BANDIT!?

• Alira is a great option early as it eases some Suffix pressure from our gear (and we have quite a bit early on)
• Once Resistances are sorted, swap to Kill All (can be done by selling 20 Orbs of Regret + 1x Onyx Amulet to a Vendor)

• Updated the Ultra Endgame build to actually be Ultra Endgame
• Changed a couple of points on the Lvl 95 Tree (removed Tincture Wheel and allocated some ES/Life nodes instead)
• Removed The Taming on the Later Endgame Tree. This is great for damage, but we have enough of that so can opt for an Amethyst Ring instead to sort out our Chaos Resistance
