Overview

This guide will explain the setup for crafting an Energy Shield Gloves with Attack-based modifiers such as flat Damage to Attacks, Attack Speed and Accuracy with the Genesis Tree. This is useful for KB and Kinetic Fusillade as well as other Wander builds.

This requires most of the Points on the Tree to be unlocked, but some can be left out in case you haven't unlocked them all.

Optional Points will be marked with an asterisk (*) to note that they can be left out in case you don't have enough Points

Less Strength/Dexterity Items*	Optional	Reduces the chance we get Evasion or Armour gear
Forsaken Technique	Reduced Physical Modifier Chance	Lowers the chance to get flat Physical Damage to Attacks, but also Leech Suffixes that we do not want
Forsaken Zeal	None
Forsaken Soul	Life Modifiers	Reduces the chance we get both Life Prefixes and Suffixes. Although blocking Mana would give us a higher chance at getting flat Damage toAattacks Prefixes, blocking Life actually improves the chances we get better Suffixes that we want (Mana total weight: 18000 vs Life: 24000
Devoted Technique	Lightning	We select Lightning to have a higher chance at getting flat Lightning Damage to Attacks
Devoted Zeal	Attack	Improves the chance we get Attack Damage Prefixes, but also Accuracy and Attack Speed Suffixes
Devoted Soul	Resistance /Attributes or None	Most of these will interfere with obtaining flat Damage to Attack Prefixes, but you can take an increase chance to Resistances or Attributes if you need those. This will lower the chance that you get modifiers such as Accuracy or Attack Speed, but take it if you need Resistance/Attributes.
Solid Cysts*	Optional	33% chance for an item to have a Fractured modifier. It's unlikely you'll be adding Influence to your Gloves, so this is a very nice one to have
Arterial Mesh	Not Needed
Basic Nurturing*	Not Needed	Can save you some Armourer's Scraps, but not needed
Severing	Useful	The Birthed item will have its lowest Level Modifier Removed, which can free up space for useful bench crafts to fill in any missing Resistances, Attributes or Flat Damage you may need
Additional Item Chance*	Optional	Take the small hanging Points to have a higher chance of birthing additional Items

Here are some outcomes produced by this Genesis Tree setup

This first pair didn't roll as an Intellgence base, but still has all the modifiers we might need: two Tier 1 Flat Damage to Attack Prefixes, Tier 2 Attack Speed and double Resistances

Another example that didn't roll with any Attack-based modifiers, but these gloves could be extremely useful for solving Resistances and getting high Energy Shield. By blocking Mana using the Crafting Bench and then Exalting the Gloves, and then finishing with a flat Energy Shield Craft, these are pretty great Gloves considering how little work went into making them
