Path of Building Code

Build Overview

With the addition of the new Foulborn uniques, one stood out United in Dream. The Foulborn version of this weapon gives 30% quality to all minion skill gems, and for our main damage dealer Animate Weapon of Ranged Arms, this means we can have 5 additional animate weapons for a total of 23 with the current investment.

Unnatural Strength gives our minions Unholy Might, meaning all physical damage is converted to chaos damage, and it has a 25% chance to apply wither on hi. With our weapons firing so fast, we guarantee 15 stacks of wither all the time, spiking the damage significantly.

Weapon: United in Dream, the foulborn version is your main weapon, giving you level 25 Envy and 30% quality to all minion skill gems and 60% increased chance to poison. Envy gives our minions a lot of flat added chaos damage. Make sure to socket in Awakened Generosity Support to offer Envy even more increased effect.

Link Haste to Awakened Generosity Support to boost your minions attack speed even more.

Body Armor: The Covenant is the go to here, since it offers our Animate Weapon of Ranged Arms a pseudo 7th link with the level 39 Added Chaos Damage Support. If you can afford a corruption with +2 to socketed minion/duration gems, it would be great.

Belt: Darkness Enthroned will be the best in slot here, even riviling Mageblood. While Mageblood offers superior quality of life and defenses, Darkness Enthroned gives the build a lot of damage, defense and quality of life, like boosting the socketed jewels with "chance to avoid being shocked" to 100% if rolled perfectly. Combine this with Stormshroud and you'll be ailment immune in no time.

Helmet: We're going for a hybrid armor and energy shield base, Divine Crown would be the best in slot base, but anything close will suffice. Look for a +2 minion mod on it, and either fracture it using a fracturing orb, or just buy it fractured already. Use Essences of Loathing to get mana reservation efficiency of skills and 2 good resists, finish the prefixes off with eldritch currency, ideally a high life roll, and % increased armor and energy shield.

Boots: Paladin Boots are the best in slot here for the base, keeping the ES/AR base. You can get a base with either fractured life/resistance/movement speed and craft it with essences to get resistances, armor and energy percentage and movement speed. For the implicits you can either roll chance to avoid being shocked to get to 100% like I did, or anything else.

Gloves: Paladin Gloves are the best in slot here, again, keeping the ES/AR base. You can buy a fractured one with either fractured % increased minion damage, or % increased AR and ES, or a good resist. If your gloves have anything fractured but the % increased minion damage, spam essences of fear to get good prefixes, then finish suffixes with eldritch currency. For the implicit I went with more minion damage, and a random suppress that does nothing. Replace it with whatever you wish.

Rings: The Hungry Loop is a blast from the past here. Once a support gem gets to level 20, it will consume it, and add it forever to the item. Inside the The Hungry Loop I opted to socket Raise Zombie which is supported by Feeding Frenzy Support, Elemental Army Support, Meat Shield Support and Minion Life Support. Feeding Frenzy will give all our minions a considerable DPS boost.

For the 2nd ring, a well crafted Bone Ring with minion damage, minion attack and cast speed, life, and resistances is the BIS here. You can craft this by buying the fractured base with either fractured inc minion damage, minion attack and cast speed, or chaos res. Based on what you got fractured, you can spam Bound Fossils until you hit something good.

Amulet: Replica Dragonfang with +3 to level of all Animate Weapon is the best budget amulet. Anointed with Charisma so you can fit in all your auras. If you have divines to burn, Uul-Netol's Vow will provide you with resistances and another gem slot to boost your anime weapons even more. If you do have this weapon, use Awakened Vicious Projectiles Support.

Shield: A Fossilised Spirit Shield is the best budget option here, try to get +1 to all minion skill gems, increased minion damage, chance to block, or crafted chance to block, and if you're lucky with a open suffix slam it with a Shaper Exalted Orb, to try and get the "Recover 5% of life when you block" mod. The expensive version of this would be Svalinn, which would boost your survivability to the moon and back, at the cost of loosing a bit of DPS.

Witchfire Brew will give you a good DPS boost when used, as a level 21 Despair will curse your enemies. If you somehow got a spare gem slot, you can opt to manual cast the Despair gem and replace Witchfire Brew with another flask.


Jewels: For the rare Ghastly Eye Jewel, try and g et a lot of flat minion physical damage, 1 jewel with avoid being shocked, and put it into your Darkness Enthroned, other useful mods are:

- flat life

-minion attack and cast speed

-minion chance to poison until you get 100% (keep in mind United in Dream gives you already 60%, so plan accordingly)

-minion taunt on hit

-minions deal 20% increased damage if you've used a minion skill recently

Amanamu's Gaze is your chase item, gives you a lot of dot multi, up to 30% for each Ghastly Eye Jewel

For the Forbidden Flesh and Flame combo, search the trade site for which one is cheapest. When I bought them, Mistress of Sacrifice was the cheapest. Feel free to wiggle them around.

Elegant Hubris (Caspiro Supreme Ostentation) is best socketed into the jewel slot near The Agnostic. It's important the jewel is for Caspiro, as the keystone will be change from The Agnostic to Supreme Ostentation, which makes you able to wear gear and gems without keeping count of your attributes and be able to tattoo your entire tree.

Large Cluster Jewel with minions deal 10% increased damage must be level 84 in order to roll 35% increased effect. Focus on getting 30% increased effect, 3% minion attack and cast speed, chaos res, or other res you're missing, life.

Stormshroud is your key to ailment immunity here. With a 100% roll on Darkness Enthroned and a 50% chance to avoid being shocked abyss jewel socketed into it, it can give you full ailment immunity.

Grafts

Replicating Eshgraft - This graft can give you free shocked ground, very good for bossing and make sure to get the Minions deal % increased damage mod.

Draining Eshgraft - This Graft makes your enemies be Sapped, another defensive layer. Make sure to get the Minions deal % increase damage mod.

Animate Weapon of Ranged Arms linked to Greater Multiple Projectiles Support or Awakened Greater Multiple Projectiles Support if you're rich, and Pierce Support will give you the clear the build deserves. Unleash Support or Awakened Unleash Support will help you get your blades out faster. Awakened Unbound Ailments Support and Awakened Minion Damage Support will boost your damage suitable for all pinnacle encoutners. If you want more dmg but less quality of life, replace Unleash Support with Awakened Vicious Projectiles Support.

Summon Carrion Golem is very big here, as it gives A LOT of flat physical damage to your other minions, for each NON-GOLEM minion, you have 9 Raise Zombie, 4 Raise Spectre and 23 Animate Weapon of Ranged Arms. Making Summon Carrion Golem very viable and worth the gem slot.

Summon Stone Golem is great for regen and overall survivability. In order for us to use 2 golems, you need Golem Commander.

Desecrate and Bone Offering will make sure to have your block maxed out. Just set a reminder to cast it once in a while.

Frostblink and Shield Charge will ensure your mobility through maps.

Automation linked to Bladefall of Trarthus, Convocation and Steelskin are good for quality of life, making so you don't have to press so many buttons. Bladefall of Trarthus is key to summoning your animate weapons.

Malevolence, Tempest Shield are your main auras, together with Haste which is licked to Awakened Generosity Support IN YOUR WEAPON, you can't socket this anywhere else, as you will loose the benefit of Awakened Generosity Support for your Envy aura.

Raise Spectre, Animate Guardian linked to Empower Support and Minion Life Support are huge boosts in QOL and damage for the build.

We're using the following specters:

Perfect Guardian Turtle - Gives you and your minions a level 20 Determination, 5% additional Phys dmg reduction

Perfect Warlord - Gives you and your minions a level 20 Vitality and gives you 100% uptime on endurance charges.

Perfect Forest Warrior - Gives you and your minions Onslaught and he has culling strike, although very unreliable.

Perfect Hulking Miscreation - Gives your minions a whopping 100% increased damage buff and a 30% increased attack speed buff.

Animate Guardian:

The weapon of choice is Cane of Kulemak, with a staggering 50% chance to explode enemies that our Animate Guardian kills. But he doesn't kill, does he? Well he does, thanks to:

Gravebind - our gloves for our Animate Guardian, making so that all enemies that are killed, count as also being killed by him, so they explode, thanks to Cane of Kulemak. Try to get a corrupted version of this with either Enfeeble or Temporal Chains.

Garb of the Ephemeral is his chest piece, grating us slow immunity and crit immunity.

Windscream are his boots, granting an additional curse, since his Gravebind are corrupted with Enfeeble/Temporal Chains. Whichever is cheapest

Leer Cast is his helmet, granting generic damage increase. You can replace this with a rare corrupted helmet that gives nearby enemies Malediction.

Enter the map/zone, activate your Bladefall of Trarthus and summon your weapons. Win the game.
