XP Towers - Power Leveling Atlas Setup

Overview

UPDATE: This strategy has been significantly changed after Patch 0.3.1

If you're looking to level up a second character quickly without having to pay for Untainted Paradise leveling services, here's a setup you can do yourself to help level up more quickly on a second character.

This strategy makes use of Tablet Modifiers that increase Experience Gain in Maps, and attempting to place as many Monsters in the Map as possible to gain as much Experience as quickly as possible

This strategy will only work for a well-geared character, costs a few Exalts and and isn't viable for the first character of the league,

Guide

Tablets

The strategy makes use Towers and of Breach and Irradiated Precursor Tablets. You will need at least 3 Tablets per Tower with some of the following modifiers:

Mandatory

  • 5-10% increased Experienced Gain in your Maps

Bonus

  • Your Maps which contain a Breach have an #% chance to contain an additional Breach
  • Anything that increases the number of Rare/Magic Monsters in your Maps
  • Anything that adds Monsters to the Map such as Strongboxes, Shrines etc

Towers

We are looking for a double-Tower overlap, but if you can't find one, you can make use of a single Tower. You will need to run the Tower with a 6-modifier Rare Map in order to unlock three Tablet slots which we will need to properly execute this strategy

After completing your Tower(s), place in the Tablets. The Irradiated Tablets will make some nearby Maps gain Irradiation (+1 to Area Level) and the Breach Tablets will add Breaches with high pack size to the Map. If you set it up, you should have some Maps with 30-60+% increased Experience Gain where the Towers overlap

These values will be further increased by the Atlas Passive Tree discussed below.

Bonus

1. Cleansed Maps: Additionally, if you're able to clear Corruption near one of your Towers, you can get additional monster Packs and Map Modifiers that can further juice your XP gain per hour

2. Overrun by the Abyss: These Maps can be used to gain massive XP if you set up your Map correctly, discussed in the next section

Maps

How you roll your Maps also matters. The goal is to get as many Monsters in our Maps by scaling Pack Size. This can be done in a few ways. It's important to note that you don't have to do ALL of these if your build can't handle it, but these are suggestions

1. Omen of Chaotic Quantity: roll your map with 4-6 Modifiers, then right click this Omen and apply a Chaos Orb to your Map. This will cause all the modifiers on the Map to change to ones that grant #% increased Pack Size

2. Diluted Liquid Guilt: these Liquid Emotions can be applied to your Map to apply further increased Pack Size

3. Desecrated Modifiers can be applied to your Maps with a Preserved Vertebrae. If you get a Desecrated Prefix, you can get modifiers that increase the number of Magic Monsters that spawn in your Abyss, or increase the Experience they grant. This is highly recommended for Maps Overrun by the Abyss

4. You can change your Permanent Buff in Qimah to grant 5% increased Experience at the expense of several other bonuses

PoE 2 Atlas Tree

The Atlas Tree is designed to scale the effect of our Map Modifiers, Tablets and add additional Pack Size to the Map. Additionally, we can allocate Shrine Type Selector and select Enlightening Shrine in the hope that we hit that Shrine which further increases our Experience Gain.

If the stars align and you're able to clear these Maps, the XP gain is astounding. Just don't bite off more than you can chew and end up dying and losing XP instead of gaining it!
