I will update the build constantly as I continue to progress.
Use the"Build Variants" section for different progression points (and read the notes under each section!)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Act 1 to late Act 2 (early game cheese) //
main skill (clear & single target - just spam it)
Rake w/ Stomping Ground + Concentrated Effect
YOU MUST STACK AS MUCH STRENGTH AS POSSIBLE TO MAKE USE OF Stomping Ground! you will absolutely OBLITERATE the early game doing-so!
Stomping Ground hits MULTIPLE TIMES with one use of
Rake and each hit deals as much, if not more, than using your weapon itself!
movement skill
Disengage (put your cursor OPPOSITE where you want to go - it's a backflip)
also remember to use
Twister /
Storm Lance to proc
Stalk and Leap (Huntress starting area passive) while
Rake'ing
Note that late Act 2 / early Act 3 is DEFINITELY the "roughest" point for the build - this is because Stomping Ground starts to fall off and you don't quite have all the necessary tools for bleed to pop off.
DON'T GET DISCOURAGED! Things will pick up GREATLY in Act 3 once you get a decent spear and spec into things like
Perfectly Placed Knife,
Wasting and
Fast Acting Toxins
if you have a few exalts, picking up a
Meginord's Girdle and
Horns of Bynden will help Acts 1 & 2 IMMENSELY
also, if you can afford a
Saitha's Spear + one or two
Venopunctures, you can swap to the Bleed Variant below right at level 33!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Bleed Swap (early/mid Act 3) //
this is where Stomping Ground has fallen off (you shoulda started to notice around mid Act 2 lol)
you are now running TWO
Spearfields - one for clear (Lacerate) and one to boost bleed dmg (Rage)
to create a second
Spearfield, simply unsocket your existing one and then use an uncut gem
you will also now need the best phys dmg spear you can get your hands on and working your way towards the bleed / ailment passives on the tree.
Saitha's Spear is a good early option (free aggravate on
Rake)
Tangletongue is a better option but MUCH more expensive
2x
Venopunctures are great but also expensive (only one is fine!)
// SKILL ROTATION //
single target:
1)
Bloodhound's Mark
2) 2-3x Rage
Spearfield
3)
Rake >
Disengage
repeat steps 2 & 3 until "blood loss" is ~50%, then
Blood Hunt
clear (TWO
Spearfields):
1) Lacerate
Spearfield
2) Rage
Spearfield
repeat over & over -
Herald of Blood does the rest
the reason for running two
Spearfields is:
- Lacerate
Spearfield applies the bleeds (for clearing)
- Rage
Spearfield boosts bleed damage via:
Rage, Blood in the Eyes (more crit via
Critical Strike) &
Perfectly Placed Knife
you can also use
Rake for clear if your Lacerate
Spearfield isn't doing too much dmg right now
more info in the "Gear", "Skills" and "Passive Tree" sections.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Bleed w/ t3 supports (A2 Cruel+) //
you now have access to Haemocrystals, which is socketed in
Herald of Blood and significantly increases your clearspeed.
Deep Cuts on
Rake and Impale on
Disengage also significantly increase your single target damage.
your Skill Rotation is the same as before:
clear = Lacerate
Spearfield > Rage
Spearfield
single target =
Rake >
Disengage w/ 2-3x Rage
Spearfields +
Bloodhound's Mark
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
// IF YOU'RE STUCK //
you're likely near the end of Act 2 (prob on the boss xdd) - this is NORMAL.
upgrading your weapon and/or finding gear with a bit more strength (just 7 or 8 more will make a difference!) are the best solutions.
if you have a few exalts, buy a
Meginord's Girdle and
Horns of Bynden for a GIGA boost to dmg!
don't give up - once you swap over to bleed during Act 3, things start to pick up GREATLY!
VENOM DRAUGHTS:
normal = "%ele ailment threshold"
cruel = "%chaos res"
