Build Overview

This is guide for my League Starter Build - Unarmed Hollow Palm Deadeye for 0.3

==========================================================

This guide will help you to pick the gear and gems and will help you out while progressing.

For more info on why DEADEYE and what to keep in mind check the video -------------->

==========================================================

For this guide we are going to League Start with a Bow

After Reaching lvl 22 we can swap to the Storm Wave for comfortable Non Melee Clear and later on to the Tempest Flurry to move with great speed.

Staggering Palm should be used to get the projectile buff which we will use for screen wide clear.

While Wind Dancer (Or Quarterstaff Strike) can give us Charges to finish off enemies with Falling Thunder

Strengths and Weaknesses

  • Fast Clear Speed
  • Cool Mark Interactions
  • Easy to Swap Builds if Needed
  • Right side of the Tree
  • Less Defense than Invoker
  • Multiple Buttons to Click

Build Variants

We are starting with Lightning Arrow / Lightning Rod for single target + we will use Stormcaller Arrow to clear packs.

The bow start for Deadeye is very smooth and natural so we can progress fast until the swap to Hollow Palm at Lvl 22-24.

Click Build Variants up there to see progression.

IMPORTANT - We can Now use same Support Gems in all the skills.

Spending Orbs to add sockets to the Lightning Rod and Stormcaller Arrow is NOT recommended.

Act 1 and VERY early game:

Take Lightning Arrow as your first gem and Lightning Rod from the first chest and use them together for basic progression.

Lightning Rod should be used for single target and you can trigger it with Lightning Arrow with no delay. So shoot

Get Stormcaller Arrow as fast as it is available around lvl 5-6 and use it to clear packs while you are running around.

Early Game Supports:

Scattershot is your first pick for Lightning Rod + Chain for Lightning Arrow to improve single target DMG.

After that you can get a second Scattershot to use with Stormcaller Arrow and add Martial Tempo for QoL or Lightning Infusion if you need more damage to clear packs.

Clearing Packs:

To clear the packs while running through we will use Stormcaller Arrow. That skill sticks an arrow to the enemy or piece of terrain and that arrow is hit with lightning after a little duration.

It has a good AoE, nice damage and a very decent chance to shock which will activate Innervate from Herald of Thunder

Now you can also add Scattershot to the Stormcaller Arrow setup to improve it even further.

Single target for Bosses and Rares:

Lightning Rod is our main single target damaging skill.

Since there is a delay to trigger Rods for other skills we should use Lightning Arrow with Chain + Martial Tempo for that .

Mechanic Itself is very simple, just use a Lightning Rod a few times and after that spam Lightning Arrow until boss is down or Lightning Rod disappeared. Rinse and Repeat!

Faster Movement:

In 0.3 you will have a Spring bonus after dodge rolling so use it to make yourself faster.

Shield Charge with a weapon swap is still possible but can feel pretty clunky after changes in 0.3

TREE WILL BE UPDATED WHEN WE WILL HAVE FULL INFO

At the Start just take all projectile damage to improve your Early Campaign.

Clean Shot and Blinding Strike will be a priority.

You will need to swap a few point to get into Lvl 22+ Version which is Unarmed.

Hollow Palm Notable Location will be to the right and up from General Electric so this is the main reason we are going there.

Hollow Palm scaling is still NOT CONFIRMED so if it will not scale good, rushing there will be not the best idea, do it at your own risk.
