Build Overview

This is a feel-good, powerful beginner build for Monks in Path of Exile 2. I've cobbled this together by venturing around the tree looking for nodes that make sense, grabbing skills and supports that mesh well together, and just experimenting with things as I go. It BLASTED the campaign and is doing well in the early endgame (T10 waystones), but is in no way optimized. Enjoy!

Your weapon is the MOST important part of the build. Focus on a good increased physical damage, +X to +X lightning/physical damage to attacks, and increased elemental damage with attacks rolls. Extras are attack speed, stun duration, and leech/gain mana/life on hits.

All armour bases should be evasion, except helmet which should be energy shield due to a node on the passive skill tree.

Charms/flasks are fluid. Use what works for you.

Atlas Tree

Nothing here yet, only to t10s (and the t5 quest).

How it Plays

Super fast and smooth. Active dodging needed for AOE slams, projectiles are a non-issue now with evasion. Feels melee most of the time but can act as pseudo-melee with Charged Staff power.

Changelog

12-17-2024: Build released as of Tier 10 Waystone progression.

12-18-2024: Added desired modifiers to equipment.
