Overall Concept
We focus on giving
Lacrimosa maximum field time, buff DoT through
Sakiri’s passive, and apply as many DoTs as possible.
Sakiri,
Adler, and
Fadia don't take field time, they can simply use skill and Ultimate and swap out. Building Esper Meter is not a problem with
Lacrimosa taking most of the field time, since Scorch lasting for 12 seconds on enemies.
We don’t actively seek to trigger Nova in this rotation, as Scorch takes much higher priority. But against bosses, you can simply parry to refill Esper meter several times and include Nova and Discord in the rotation.
At A0,
Lacrimosa doesn’t fully utilize her own passive (burst damage when Discord is triggered on broken enemies), because parrying requires an active enemy, not a broken one. However, with one dupe you may pick
A6: Morning Spell, which enables
Lacrimosa to trigger an extra free reaction after using her copied monster skill. This makes Discord much more consistent.
Sakiri groups enemies with her skill. To avoid interruption, use her skill and immediately swap her out. That’s a solution for one of her problems, and because
Lacrimosa is the one building Esper Meter for Scorch, we don’t care about Sakiri’s slow build up.
Instant Esper Meter Refill
Beside
Lacrimosa’s A6 or parry, there’s no other instant Esper Meter refill.
Natural Esper Meter Refill
In this Scorch team,
Lacrimosa is the character who refills her Esper Meter fastest, especially with dodge counters and two uses of her skill (one monster skill, and one normal skill after using 5x combo). So she’s the one triggering most Scorch reactions.
In long fights, other characters will eventually refill their meter and add extra reaction, allowing a Nova and Discord to trigger for more burst DPS.
If you want to save a reaction when an Esper Meter refills, switch from
Fadia to an Incantation character (
Sakiri and
Adler) or vice versa, until
Lacrimosa refills her Meter.
Lacrimosa can’t save her Meter while refilling another character’s.
Ultimate Energy Gain
All of
Lacrimosa,
Sakiri, and
Fadia will gain Ultimate energy quickly.
Lacrimosa through normal attacks, dodge counters, and skill casts.
Fadia passively gains it by taking and dealing damage from off-field.
Sakiri through energy generation efficiency from
Speedy Hedgehog (S).
Meanwhile
Adler doesn’t really care about using his Ultimate, his function is debuffing enemies through his passive upon triggering Scorch, and applying DoT through his skill.
Scaling Lacrimosa Damage
As a hyper carry team,
Lacrimosa’s Scorch team focuses on herself first and foremost, then on some allies' gimmicks.
Lacrimosa’s DPS is split between:- Direct hits: scales with the four DPS stats (
ATK%,
Chaos DMG%,
CRIT Rate,
CRIT DMG) - Nightmare DoT: scales with (
ATK%,
Chaos DMG%, and
CRIT DMG) - Nightmare DoT has a fixed 50%
CRIT Rate (like every DoT in game). and stack up to ten times. - Scorch: scales with (
Cycle Intensity, and
CRIT DMG), with a fixed 50%
CRIT Rate.
Make sure the
Cycle Intensity on
Sakiri and Adler is as low as possible, preferably zero. While Lacrimosa has one or two substats of
Cycle Intensity to be the one triggering Scorch. This way,
Lacrimosa’s
CRIT DMG stat contributes to Scorch DMG, instead of taking that stat from
Sakiri and
Adler.
This also means with
Lacrimosa, we prefer the
CRIT Rate to
CRIT DMG ratio to lean more toward
CRIT DMG if not achieving the golden 1:2 ratio.
Scaling Team Damage
Adler's DoT
Evil's Bane scales with (
DEF%,
Incantation DMG%, and
CRIT DMG)
Fadia makes enemy Max HP smaller with each Nova reaction. This scales with:
Fadia's base Max HP- Frequency of triggering Nova (Parry with Fadia helps)
- Break damage
- Break damage is counted from the
Break Intensity stat, which is a team sum stat.
Break Intensity on any character adds to the total break damage. - You can stack
Break Intensity on
Sakiri (main and substats),
Fadia (substats), and
Adler (substats). Don’t waste
Lacrimosa stats on
Break Intensity. - Save allies’ Esper Meter for when
Lacrimosa’s Esper Meter is also full. This way, you can trigger both Scorch and Nova in sequence, to trigger Discord for a massive break. - If you manage to trigger Discord on a broken enemy,
Lacrimosa deals an additional burst hit.
