Espers are the elemental/supernatural system in Neverness to Everness. With each character belonging to one of six types.
The elements affect Combat (Damage Type and Reactions), Team Building, and Exploration. So a whole lot of areas in the game are tied to this core system.
Basic Combat Loop
- Fill the Esper Meter on characters
- Swap to the character (with glowing Profile)
- Trigger Esper reactions
- Swap to another character with a full meter (for more reactions)
- Repeat
They are not just elements with different colors... They're the backbone of NTE's combat system.
If you use them wrong, your team falls flat. But use them right, and reactions will carry your team through the toughest fights
