DUAL BLADE EARLY GAME
Early game stick with the Hope Daggers I until you meet Lala barina Boss, defeating it will allow you to craft Barina Faucilles I use this until you meet the other spider Narscylla to unlock the ability to craft Barina Faucilles II. Use these until you can craft Guild Knight Sabers I with a 4-Piece Rey Dau's Voltage set bonus, use only the rey dau Head/Arms/Waist/Legs do not use Rey Sandmail as it has no passive bonus and no Deco Slot. Personally id rather use Udra Miremail for raw attack increase when hurt, since Latent Power found in the Rey Dau's Voltage set bonuses requires you to take damage to activate regardless. This is especially helpful because it allows you to easily reach 40% affinity while in low rank which otherwise is impossible. I trigger the damage on myself then go ham on the bosses after making full use of its uptime.

SHARPENING
I always sharpen whenever I see my durability turn yellow because yellow durability slightly reduces your damage output. In my opinion its better to keep it in the green or above which is why Guild Knight Sabers I are perfect with blue sharpness and huge green sharpness after


ARMOR
The 4 Piece Rey Dau set grants the max Rey Dau's Voltage set bonus that increases the tier 3 Latent Power passive bonus from 120 seconds to 210 seconds aka 3.5 mintues. After taking around ~150 damage or reaching 500 seconds, Latent Power activates whichever happens first in a hunt and lasts for 3.5 minutes to grant you 30% affinity and 50% stamina cost reduction. Then I personally like to run the Hirabami Mail for more I-FRAMES on your dodges
