Endgame Insect Glaive Meta & Progression

Fulgur Second Wind + 2 Gore

The meta right now is quite slanted toward Raw damage, and Insect Glaive is no exception.

2-pc Fulgur Armor for Second Wind I is often used in conjunction with Maximum Might and 2-pc Gore.

While 4 Gore can be more damage on average, this build provides more comfort and flexibility with access to more Level 2 Decoration slots.

Weapon

Artian Insect Glaive - Diprielcha

• Parts: 3x Attack - Paralysis or Blast
  
• Reinforcements: 3-4x Attack 1-2x Sharpness

Paralysis and Blast are recommended as generalist options for any monster. For monsters significantly weak to a certain Element, such as Gravios to Water, Water Diprielcha will perform slightly better.

If you wish to build more Artian Weapons for elemental coverage, that is up to you.

Kinsect

The general recommendations for Kinsect are:

• Arkmaiden
• Foebeetle
• Gullshad

These are all Blunt Kinsects with Harvest Extract.

Decorations

This build has 3 open Level 2 Decoration slots. Example setups include:

• Counterstrike 3 (Counter Jewel)
• Earplugs 3 (Earplugs Jewel)
• Earplugs 2 / Counterstrike 1
• Ambush 3 (Ambush Jewel)
• Coalescence (if element)
• etc

Note that Counterstrike can be procced with Offset Attack (Strong Descending Thrust), making it a common choice.

For weapon, the generic recommendation of
Critical Jewel III Critical Jewel II Mastery Jewel is still good.

You can use Airborne (Flight/Handicraft Jwl) as well, since it affects the Rising Spiral Slash which is your main payoff move.

The more time you spend in aerial combat, the more worthwhile. Unfortunately, optimal damage rotations spend more time grounded.

Agitator vs Weakness Exploit

If you're running Corrupted Mantle, are speedrunning, or simply hunt quickly with friends, you can opt to run more Agitator than Weakness Exploit.

Simply replace Arkvulcan Mail β with Blango Mail β and one Tenderizer Jewel to Challenger Jewel.

You can also replace Exploiter Charm II with Counter Charm III

Another example is replace Tenderizer Jewel to Counterattack Jewel
