Gore 4-pc
Right now, the meta around Elemental Damage is quite bad. While you still want to build some element, it's rarely a full build around. Increasing your damage with Raw Attack and splashing some Element as an extra bonus is the goal of this set.
Across meta sets you often see Gore 2-pc or Gore 4-pc to use Black Eclipse I or
Black Eclipse II with
Antivirus.
While Bow is generally an Element-based weapon, the Raw Attack from Gore 4-pc is actually more beneficial than maxing out Burst.
This can change against some monsters, like Gravios & Water, but for most monsters Raw results in more damage.
Weapons
If you want one weapon fits all, go for Griefbringer Urstox as a high Raw Bow option. For the other elements, the reason we use Monster weapons instead of Artian is because of Coatings. All of these Bows use
Close-range Coating, which is optimal for damage if you can manage to play close to the monster.
For reference, Close-range Coating buffs raw damage by 40% and loses damage when far away. On the opposite end,
Power Coating buffs raw by 30% and loses damage when close.
- Raw -
Griefbringer Urstox (G. Doshaguma)
Fire -
Angelbein (Artian Rarity 8)
Water -
Angelbein (Artian Rarity 8)
Ice -
Singha Sharanga (Blangonga)
Dragon -
G. Renowned Tristram (G. Arkveld)
Thunder - Use G. Dosha Bow, Raw on Fulgur bow is not very high
Artian Rolls - For the Artian Bows, you want all 8 rolls to be Attack. This is simply a Raw build. Element/Affinity rolls will deal slightly less damage, but it's nothing major to worry about if you're off by a bit.
Note Ballistics does not work w/ Dragon Piercer/
