Paralysis Great Sword Build

Build Overview

This build focuses on paralyzing your target to basically get a free true charged combo so you can deal a ton of damage. You want to focus on an artian version of the greatsword so that you can get more elemental bonuses out of it. For anybody that loves the greatsword and completely immobilizing your target then this build is great for you.

Damage Skills

• Critical Boost
• Weakness Exploit
• Counterstrike
• Maximum Might
• Antivirus

These skills will help us deal a ton off damage in the middle of a hunt. This is the playstyle I like going for. Sometimes when you're trying to get an offset attack and you miss, Counterstrike will give you a damage boost for getting knocked on your butt. Antivirus and Maximum Might will help increase our affinity during the fight. Weakness Exploit exploit ensures that will pretty much always hit a critical hit on weak spots and wounds. Critical Boost gives us a flat damage boost to our critical hits which we will be hitting most of the time with this build.

• Focus
• Constitution
• Agitator

Focus reduces our charge time for charged attacks which we always want to go for as a great sword build. Constitution reduces our stamina depletion which pairs well with Fulgur Anjanath's Will set bonus. We have an extra stamina bar and having reduced stamina depletion enables us to have maximum up time for Maximum Might. We have a little bit of Agitator because most of the fight the monster is enraged and this gives a little more attack and affinity boost as well.
