Marathon Outpost

The Outpost is the third map of Marathon but it is NOT playable during the Server Slam free weekend.

ViDoc description:

Outpost is a more functional, thriving UESC facility. There are scan drones flying overhead, the UESC is everywhere. There are tripwires, there are weather hazards. It's a lot of stuff you're up against from the get-go. Outpost is a smaller map, but it's also a lot more vertical. It's built around a specific building that we call "The Pinwheel". It's just this meatgrinder of structure that's like a corkscrew building that has nooks and crannies, and hallways. It just becomes a real clusterf*ck when you're fighting. '

The floor is raised on Outpost, and nothing is free. The Pinwheel hosts some of the best loot opportunities, but it's noisy. Players are going to know you're doing it, so there are extra risks.

In this guide by our expert SiegeOC (with some footage by FalloutPlays), we'll cover how to get the keycodes and ultimately get access into Pinwheel Base.

First off, you’re going to head to the Pinwheel Base itself.

You’ll know you’re in the right area when you come up to this door with a terminal right next to it.

Whatever colors ae being shown are the key codes you need in order to gain access into the pinwheel base.

For Green clearance codes you can find these anywhere on Outpost usually on desks or counters inside of buildings.

For Red clearance codes you’ll find these on rooftops. Simply walk up and interact with it, give it a few seconds, then take your key code.

For Orange clearance codes you can find them in these white box machines. Just like the Red codes, walk up, and activate it, then take your key code.

Once you have the key codes you need, head back to the door with the terminal. Enter the codes and now you’re ready to head inside of the Pinwheel base. You will have to defeat UESC forces before proceeding further.

After that you’ll want to activate the blue terminal next to the elevator to unlock it.

You will have to defeat a couple of waves of UESC forces before the elevator opens up. Once it does hop in and activate it.

Once up top you’ll want to open up this white and blue UESC door.

From here you are going to need to activate two blue screen terminals. One of these will be in the left room and the second will be in the right room. For the one to the left, keep going until you reach this heavy Blue UESC room. The terminal should be here on this countertop.

Next you want to head back to the blue & white door you came from and this time go into the right room for the final blue screen terminal. Keep going until you see this room to the left. The 2nd and final blue screen terminal is in the back to the left.

Now head back to the main room & go up the ramp. You’ll see this big blue UESC door, open it up and you’re in! Loot to your heart’s content.

Before you attempt this event, make sure you have plenty of ammo, you're going to need it.

To find the event, look for the blue symbol below:

When you find it, there will be a UESC squad surrounding it that you'll have to defeat.

Follow the convoy until it stops in place over the yellow pad with blinking lights.

Once it stops, it will open with four red squares which you'll need to shoot.

The convoy should then fall to the ground for you to loot (often including blues and purples).

Be quick as it will make a lot of noise and attract enemy Runners!
