Build Overview

Triage has proven to be a top tier character in endgame scenarios since Cryo Archive has launched. Having the ability to instantly revive teammates with Reboot+, top off ally health and share consumables on the fly with Med-Drone is valuable when going against aggressive teams in high end play. Let's talk about how you should be setting up your Triage for high level or endgame play.

Strengths And Weaknesses

  • Free Heals For All Teammates
  • Instant Revives
  • Share Consumables With Ease
  • Passive Fighter
  • No Real Offensive Abilities
  • Lose Loot Space For Consumables

Endgame

This setup is focused around weapons that you can use in mid-range to tight spaces. Maps like Outpost and Cryo Archive are filled with tight hallways and medium sized rooms so you need versatile weapons to match that. You will also be focusing on being a medic for your team so equipment that helps block out incoming damage is key as well. You also want to take advantage of your health sharing abilities with cores and implants if possible.

Lets breakdown the items you need or this build!

1.) Weapons we want something that is versatile in mid to short range fights. The M77 Assault Rifle fits this role perfectly with its built in hybrid scope and great TTK. Add on the Scope Linked Magazine for some extra damage on those longer range fights. It also goes without saying that the WSTR Combat Shotgun is the easiest choice for close range fights. The sheer amount of fights on Cryo that will only use this shotgun is staggering. It's also incredibly cheap to buy in the armory so have at it!

2.) Equipment we're focusing on defense. The Bubble Shield has proven to be S-Tier for Outpost and Cryo for these close range fits and blocking out damage. It's also massive for getting teammates back up during a fight since it separates targets from your downed ally.

3.) With cores we're focusing on making sure your team is always healed no matter the time. No Good Deed is a great choice for mid-fights since it will add extra heals on top of the one Med-Drone will start giving. That paired with Samaritan means you'll have more Med-Drones to throw to your teammates. With these you should have a drone on everyone at all times.

4.) Implants focus on abilities that make you indivisible when self-reviving or reviving teammates. The sheer amount of times I've been saved by these implants is insane. Get your self-revive and healing stats maxed then focus on your ability recharge. Having that Reboot+ available is massive for fights that go on for awhile.

How It Works

Triage is a mid-range fighter in all aspects of their kit. You want to be somewhere near the middle of your crew to always be available to heal up teammates with your Med-Drone or revive them with Reboot+. You should never be the first one in the fight since if you go down who's going to be the medic? Focus on keeping some distance and only run into the fight if you absolutely have to.

Use a Bubble Shield to help get downed teammates back up or give everyone some time to heal up with your Med-Drone. In fights keep an eye out on your teammates Med-Drone to ensure they have it. If not they won't have that passive healing or ability to share your consumables with Shareware.exe.

Before you enter a fight make sure everyone has a Med-Drone and use consumables like Signal Jammer or Cardio Kick to give them the much needed boost to overcome enemy runners. This is massive for maps like Cryo Archive where any advantage goes a very long way.

Faction Priority

1.) CyberAcme is your general bonus faction starting out. You get bonuses to your vault space, wallet, heat meter, and much more. You absolutely should feed into this to make sure all your basic needs are met while out in Tau Ceti IV. Definitely focus on the ones for your heat meter since that can be make or break in a fight.

2.) NuCaloric or NuCal is your biggest health based faction. They provide you with basic healing and consumables that benefit you and your team while in battle. Remember teammates that share your Med-Drone benefit from any health or consumable you use so make sure to stock up!

3.) Arachne is going to be the faction you slay out with. Not only do you get bonuses for offense, but Arachne also provides bonuses for reviving teammates and health within their tree. I personally didn't think I would invest much time into them, but I was completely wrong once I saw the faction tree. Slay out Runners!

4.) Possibly the most important is Sekiguchi. This will be the last faction you unlock and it provides some massive benefits. Having the ability to upgrade your tactical recovery so it's instantly available when you load in is big. This means your team can have their Med-Drone sooner and be able to start getting benefits from Shareware.exe. Also having the ability to buy Cores for Triage is great to give you a little advantage when loading in on a weaker kit.
