Welcome to our patch notes breakdown for League of Legends Season 26.06 (Demacia Season)!
Let’s break down all the new changes in LoL coming this week.
We recommend following along with the official patch notes since we won’t be listing all the specific stat changes, but rather focusing on the impact of the changes and the champions updated place in the current meta.
If you’re wondering how these changes will affect the meta, check out our LoL champion tier list!
Buffs, Nerfs, and Changes

Champion Changes
Ahri (Nerf)
- Ahri’s Q base damage is reduced.
- This is going to reduce Ahri’s ability to get kills and reduce her poke/ trading potential throughout the game.
- While these changes will make her weaker overall, they will not dramatically impact her pick or play rate. She is one of the most popular champions in the game, and people will pick her regardless.
- Ahri had a 52% win rate on patch 26.6.

Azir (Buff)
- His Q AP ratio is increased, but at the cost of a reduced range. This is going to limit Azir’s ability to poke in lane.
- His W damage and the scaling are increased, though, which is going to help him while trading with the enemy, and it might make up for the reduced range.
- I do not think that Azir is going to make Azir better overall
- Azir had a 43.1% win rate on patch 26.6.

Cassiopeia (Buff)
- Her base mana is increased, which is going to help her with that early game E spam.
- Cassiopeia's E bonus damage to marked champions is increased.
- These buffs to Cassiopeia will make her a lot strong in those 1v1s in the Top and Mid lane.
- Cassiopia had a 49.6% win rate on patch 26.6.

Lissandra (Adjustment)
- Her armour growth is reduced, which will make her weaker when laning against AD champions, and their autos/abilities will hurt more.
- However, her Q cooldown is decreased, which is going to help when poking and clearing waves.
- I think Lissandra will be reserved as a counter pick, and while the Q cooldown is good, I don’t think it will make her an S-tier pick anytime soon.
- Lissandra had a 50.3% win rate on patch 26.6.

Olaf (Adjustment)
- His base attack speed is increased, which will help him in those skirmishes with the enemy in the Top Lane and Jungle.
- His Q slow is also increased, which will increase Olaf’s all-in potential and make him much stronger in those 1v1 situations.
- However, his E cost is increased.
- These changes will make Olaf a higher priority pick in both the Jungle and Top Lane moving forward.
- Olaf had a 51.3% win rate on patch 26.6.

Pyke (Nerf)
- Pyke’s base armour is reduced. This is a good change for anyone playing against Pyke, as it makes him weaker at the early levels, so it will be easier for you to kill him.
- While these will be beneficial changes for anyone outside of the Pyke player, I do not expect them to make much of a difference to his pick rate as his kit is very good overall.
- Pyke had a 50.1% win rate on patch 26.6.

Shen (Nerf)
- Shen’s Q damage versus jungle camps is reduced. This will negatively impact and slow down his jungle clear. This will significantly weaken him and reduce his pick rate.
- I expect us not to see Shen Jungle as much anymore.
- Shen had a 51.9% win rate on patch 26.6.

Shyvana (VGU)
Shyvana is getting an upgrade! Here are some articles to help you play her when she is launched:
Skarner (Buff)
- Skarner’s Q deals more damage based on enemy health, and the cost of the ability is reduced. This will help him in those duels and 1v1 situations.
- His E cooldown is also reduced, which is going to help him get more ganks off.
- So while these changes are good, I don’t think he is now going to become an S-tier Jungler.
- Skarner had a 49.2% win rate on patch 26.6.

Tryndamere (Buff)
- His attack speed ratio is increased.
- This will positively impact Tryndamere in both Top and Jungle. However, I doubt it will make a significant change in his pick or win rate.
- Tryndamere had a 49.1% win rate on patch 26.6.

Zaahen (Nerf)
- His W secondary damage and scaling are reduced.
- Zaahen’s E bonus monster damage is also reduced.
- So these nerfs are going to impact him in both the Jungle and Top lane, but we will see these changes impact him in the Jungle, and I expect him to be picked far less in the future.
- Zaahen had a 50.3% win rate on patch 26.6.

Item Changes
Chempunk Chainsword
- The combined cost is down, which means the total cost is reduced.

Sunfire Aegis
- Build path is changed.
