Apollo's Attack/Special Boons increase the damage and AoE of of all strikes. Basically any weapon will benefit from the increased AoE. The only issues some have with his Attack/Special Boons is that the damage is lower compared to Aphrodite and Hera's, and they are not good for activating Origination (XIV).

His Sprint Boon Blinding Rush, on the other hand, will always be a strong choice. Movement speed is a powerful stat in Hades 2, and Daze effectively makes you take damage 20% less frequently.

Self Healing is one of the only Boons that can grant healing to you in the middle of an encounter. It only requires 3 Fire elemental Boons, so it's not too hard to activate.

He also has some nice duo Boons like Beach Ball to add damage to your builds. The Sun God is a good choice when you want your weapon to hit big and hard, and your enemies not to hit at all.

Best Weapons

The best Weapons to pair with Apollo:

• Aspect of Supay Nova Strike makes your Omega's massive, and Poseidon is a common paring as well.
• Aspect of Nergal Throw Nova Strike on, and Omega Attack from start to finish for an easy win.
• Aspect of Melinoë Huge Omega Explosions, and the trio of Wide Grin with Nova Strike + Exceptional Talent is absolute must try.

God Pairings

The best Gods to pair with Apollo:

• Poseidon to make waves with Beach Ball. If you haven't tried a run with this exploding ball of water chasing you around, you need to try it immediately.
• Aphrodite has good overall synergy with playstyle of their core Boons. Both Olympians also offer plenty of Air Elements for Wispy Wiles
• Demeter If you have Arctic Gale or Frigid Rush, Tropical Cyclone should be your next priority. Anyone frozen by Dem is an easy target for Apollo Attacks/Specials
