Character Profile

Odette is a Cryo and Stellar Sub-DPS and Support. As a Cryo holder of a Stellar Linchpin, she can enable both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl. She buffs both archetypes significantly and deals very high off-field damage; her kit largely functions the same regardless of which Stellar Radiance is active and taking priority.

Odette’s damage comes entirely from her Elemental Skill’s Stellar damage components: a massive Stellar Glimmer hit from her Enhanced Skill, and her off-field turret’s Stellar hits, which also requires the use of her Enhanced Skill. To gain access to said Enhanced Skill, Odette has to be in a Stellar Radiance, making her damage non-existent outside of Stellar teams. Her buffing is entirely Stellar DMG Bonus, more or less locking her to Stellar teams. This is not an issue for her considering her strength in those teams and their general availability, especially with the Cryo Traveler being entirely free and very powerful. Her Elemental Burst is the only part of her kit that is generally not great. It is often not worth using at all, and when it is, it can be quite weak.

Odette has access to some of the best Constellations available to a Sub-DPS or a Support in the game. She sports excellent early vertical with both significant team buffs and personal damage upgrades, although her Signature Weapon is not the greatest.

Best Teams

Sandrone Teams

Stellar-Conduct:

Sandrone- Odette- Yae Miko- Flex Slot

Stellar Swirl:

Sandrone- Odette- Anemo Slot - Flex Slot

  • The best Stellar-Conduct 4th slots include Qiqi, Escoffier, and Sucrose (though with no sustain option). Alternatives include Xilonen, Nicole, Beidou, Alyosha at C6, and Diona.
  • If you don't have Yae Miko, your best bet is to replace her with another of the above.
  • In Stellar Swirl teams, Sucrose will generally be the best option due to her very strong team buffs. However, Radiance: Stellar Swirl only lasts for 8 seconds after triggering a SSW reaction. This means she will have to swap in and out at least 2 times in a rotation. Venti is a decent and easier to play alternative.
  • For the last slot, Qiqi, Traveler (Cryo) or another Anemo unit are all solid.

Odette is the BiS 2nd Cryo slot for every Sandrone team bar none, by a massive margin. Odette’s team buffs and personal Sub-DPS are unmatched. She is about as strong as Yae Miko in a Stellar-Conduct team, and as there is no Stellar Swirl Yae Miko, she is the most valuable 2nd slot in those teams by far. It is also worth noting that Odette’s Constellations tend to be the strongest vertical investment in Sandrone’s teams, as Sandrone’s Constellations are quite mediocre. In the Sucrose + Qiqi version, it can be worth it to use Odette's Burst whenever it's available. This is the only team where using it is useful.

Example Rotations:

Stellar-Conduct:

  1. Yae Miko Skill x3
  2. Odette Skill or Burst + Enhanced Skill
  3. Qiqi Skill
  4. Sandrone 3CA + Burst

Stellar Swirl:

( Sandrone Skill + Sucrose N1 on the first rotation)

  1. Odette Skill + Enhanced Skill
  2. Sucrose N1 + Skill or Burst
  3. Qiqi Skill
  4. Sandrone 2CA + Burst
  5. Sucrose N1 + Skill or Burst

Other Stellar-Conduct Carries

Wriothesleyor Cyno or Traveler (Cryo)

+

Odette - Yae Miko- Flex Slot

Similarly to Sandrone’s Stellar-Conduct teams, Odette is about as strong as C1 Yae Miko and easily the most valuable 2nd / 3rd slot. She is particularly good for Cryo Traveler teams that run on very short rotations, as it maximizes her highly frontloaded damage. Wriothesley (at C1) and Cyno rotations are quite long, so Odette’s damage does fall off relatively.

The flex slot options should be the same as for Sandrone, but with Traveler (Cryo) being an added alternative 4th slot for Wrio and Cyno.

Example Rotation:

  1. Yae Miko Skill x3
  2. Odette Skill + Enhanced Skill
  3. Sucrose N1 + Skill or Burst
  4. Traveler (Cryo) Skill + 2 [N2C] + Burst + 3 [N2C]

Other Stellar Swirl

Yumemizuki Mizuki+ Odette

+ 2 of:

Traveler (Cryo) / Sucrose / Faruzan / Qiqi / Diona

Far and away the best Cryo slot for Mizuki teams. Like the Cryo Traveler, Mizuki runs on short rotations that maximize Odette’s damage. Unlike Stellar-Conduct teams, Odette does not have the option to run a dedicated set like Disenchantment in Deep Shadow. Crimson Proof does not work for her. This does reduce her damage options, although she will often be the dedicated holder of Heart of the Furnace regardless.

Example Rotation:

  1. Traveler (Cryo) Skill + Sucrose N1 ( first rotation only )
  2. Odette Skill + Enhanced Skill
  3. Sucrose N1 + Skill or Burst
  4. Yumemizuki Mizuki on-field time
  5. Sucrose N1 + Skill or Burst
  6. Traveler (Cryo) Skill + CA + Burst

Best Weapons

BiS: Whitelake Frostfeather

Odette’s Signature Weapon offers her a stupendous amount of stats, totaling to 24 ATK% and 50% Crit DMG for Stellar Glimmer damage, which is practically all of Odette’s damage. One of the strongest stat sticks in the game, it can be an up to 40% personal DPS increase for her compared to free options even without accounting for the rarely used Energy generation. Despite that strength, it will rarely be more than a 5-8% team DPS increase, making it far worse than Odette’s Constellation 1 and 2.

Crit 5* stat sticks:

Unilaterally decent. If you have them, use them. If you don’t there is no need to go out of your way for them. Standouts include Azurelight and Primordial Jade Cutter.

Exaiphanes Blade

A stat stick in the truest sense of the word, Odette will not make use of its passive. 5 star stats are good enough to make this a decent DPS increase over Finale of the Deep and other 4 star options, although not by a whole lot. Good as long as the Cryo Traveler isn’t currently being used.

Best 4 star options:

Emberwell

The Snezhnaya craftable is Odette’s strongest option when the passive can be used, but the trigger requirement makes it so that this is relatively rare. It is generally confined to 2 Cryo + 2 Electro teams, and might be unreliable even in those. Not particularly stronger than Finale of the Deep, and arguably not worth crafting for Odette at all.

Finale of the Deep

Fontaine’s Craftable is a much more agreeable option compared to Emberwell, and will even be better than Emberwell if the secondary passive triggers (which is relatively rare). Particularly strong in shorter rotations, such as with Mizuki or the Cryo Traveler, due to its uptime issues.

Best Artifacts & Stats

Any Stellar team: Heart of the Furnace

Odette’s plug and play option. Practically necessary for all of them, and since Odette will similarly be invaluable for all of them, there is rarely reason to put it on anyone else. It can be a DPS gain to use Heart of the Furnace on Yae Miko and Disenchantment in Deep Shadow on Odette in certain situations: the team doesn’t have Yae Miko, the rotation is particularly short (Cryo Traveler teams), Cryo damage benefits far more than Electro damage (teams with Sucrose), or Odette has more vertical investment. Even under those conditions, the DPS gain is rarely high.

Stellar-Conduct: Disenchantment in Deep Shadow

Odette’s strongest personal damage option in Stellar-Conduct teams, but as outlined above, typically not a whole lot better than Heart of the Furnace. Still, a very worthwhile investment, especially if you don’t have Yae Miko.

Stellar-Swirl: 2p2p ATK % or Elemental Mastery

Scarlet Proof is unfortunately not usable for Odette, making her set options that aren’t Heart of the Furnace be significantly worse than their alternatives in Stellar-Conduct.A Day Carved From Rising Winds is also usable here and technically better than 2p2p options, thanks to the 25 ATK% part of its passive not having a Hexerei conditional.

Talent Priority

  1. Elemental Skill
  2. Elemental Burst

Odette's Skill Talent contains all of her talent values at C0. Her Elemental Burst is generally not used, but it is worth leveling up a little if you are using it. Her Normal Attack talent is not used.

Constellations

C1"On This Danceless Morn, She Gazes at Her Reflection"
C2"I Must See the Snow Swan's Unseen Dream for Myself, She Thought"
C3"I'll Chase the Shouting Wind Along, Climbing Alone As I Go"
C4"Up, Up the Long, Delirious, Burning Blue"
C5"Oh! I Have Slipped the Surly Bonds of Earth"
C6"Put Out My Hand, and Touched the Face of the Divine"

Overview

Odette's Constellations are some of the strongest support and Sub-DPS Constellations in the game, particularly her early ones; her C0 → C1/C2 jumps are uniquely high.

Constellation Details & Approximate Damage Increase

C1: Odette’s C1 has two parts to it: First, it grants her a strong extra Stellar hit. Weaker than her Skill’s initial major Stellar hit, but still enough to be around a 30-35% personal damage increase on its own. Its other component is giving Odette more Marvelous Splendor stacks and consuming them faster. The latter is rarely notable, but the first makes this total a 35-40% personal damage increase alongside a decent team buff.

In total, this should be anywhere from 12 to 17% of a team DPS increase depending on the team, with the lower end of the range being in Stellar-Conduct Sandrone teams and the higher end of the range being in Stellar Swirl Sandrone teams. A very strong C1.

C2: Both the ATK% and RES Shred are particularly valuable in Stellar teams, especially Stellar-Conduct teams. Both stats are, at least at the moment, relatively rare. Stellar-Conduct teams do not have easy sources of RES Shred access outside of Escoffier and Sucrose, and those typically come with caveats. Stellar Swirl teams have a much easier time accessing RES Shred, although Anemo RES Shred is still not the easiest to have.

Overall, roughly a 20-27% team DPS increase, depending on the team. Odette’s C0 to C2 jump is one of the highest support Constellation jumps in the game, often the absolute highest, and both Constellations are very strong. A strong C2 in a vacuum, made even stronger by the fact Odette’s C1 is also quite good.

C3: A roughly 12-15% personal DPS increase for Odette. This will typically translate to not a lot more than 5% team DPS. Mediocre.

C4: The second effect is unconditional and offers Odette roughly 20% more talent value. Because it now makes Odette’s Burst worth using more or less in every team, the actual damage increase is far higher. All things considered, this is a slightly worse version of her C1, making it a 10-15% team DPS increase. Solid still, and makes Whitelake Frostfeather even stronger.

C5: Negligible.

C6: Skyrockets her personal damage by about 60%, while increasing team DPS by 20% (without other sources of Elevation). An excellent Sub-DPS and Support C6, very much up to modern standards.

How to Play

Overview

Odette is a Stellar Glimmer Sub-DPS and Support, able to deal both Stellar-Conduct and Stellar Swirl damage, depending on which Stellar Radiance is active, buffing the Base DMG of both and enabling both while she is in the team. Her kit does not fundamentally change depending on which Radiance is active; she will function the exact same regardless.

Odette’s source of damage is her Elemental Skill. On cast, she will summon a turret that hits nearby enemies periodically, called a Solo Dance Double. She will also gain access to an Enhanced Skill. When using the latter, she will deal a massive hit of corresponding Stellar Glimmer damage, and add Stellar Glimmer damage to the turret’s periodic hits. She will hit roughly once every 2 seconds.

Odette’s Elemental Burst deals a bit of Cryo DMG, without any Stellar hits, and grants Odette Stellar Glimmer DMG Bonus. This is a mediocre Burst, and rarely worth using. It will however summon the Solo Dance Double and grant Odette access to her Enhanced Skill, just like her regular Skill. The Solo Dance Double is how she provides her team buffs.

Solo Dance Double, Marvelous Splendor & Enhanced Skill

Odette’s turret that can be summoned by either using her regular Elemental Skill or her Elemental Burst. Either method will deal a bit of Cryo DMG to enemies hit by the cast, and the SDD will periodically hit nearby enemies with Cryo, about once every 2 seconds. The Solo Dance Double will last roughly 20 seconds, and a maximum of 10 periodic hits can be dealt. These hits will alternate between Plume and Wing, with Wing dealing slightly more damage.

When the SDD is summoned, Odette will grant herself 4 stacks of Marvelous Splendor. Each stack increases Stellar Glimmer DMG by 15%, for a total of 60%. After switching out, Odette will lose 1 stack every second and grant her teammates the same amount. This means Odette’s Enhanced Skill will hit with this DMG Bonus taken into account, but her periodic turret hits won’t. At C1, she gains 2 more stacks and drains an additional stack per second.

After summoning the SDD, Odette will gain access to her Enhanced Skill, “Coda at Dawn’s Tolling”. On cast, Odette will begin dancing with her SDD and perform a few Cryo hits around her, and if she’s under a Stellar Radiance, an additional hit of the corresponding Stellar Glimmer type. This hit deals massive damage, and makes for either a plurality or majority of her damage, depending on the team and rotation. Furthermore, Odette’s periodic turret hits will now deal additional instances of the corresponding Stellar Glimmer type. This Enhanced Skill has a 15 second cooldown.

Elemental Skill, Elemental Burst, Energy Generation

Odette’s Elemental Skill will deal a bit of Cryo DMG to enemies hit by its cast before summing the SDD. It has a 15 second cooldown. It does not have any other function.

Her Elemental Burst has an Energy cost of 60 and a cooldown of 15 seconds. On cast, it will deal some Cryo DMG in an AoE around Odette, and for the next 20 seconds, Odette will gain Stellar Glimmer DMG Bonus. Due to the lengthy animation and the DMG Bonus being solely for Odette, it is usually not worth using.

Odette will generate 5 Cryo Particles on a 12 second cooldown, and this can occur when either of her regular Elemental Skill or Enhanced Skill hits an enemy. Due to this, if Odette summons the SDD with her regular Skill, she will typically be forced to catch her own Elemental Particles. This is annoying for Sandrone, who would really appreciate the additional Energy.

Ascension 4

Odette’s Stellar Glimmer DMG will be increased based on her ATK, dealing an additional 1.5% of the original damage for every 100 ATK over 1000 ATK. This means the effect starts at 1000 ATK and caps out at 3000 ATK, at which point she will deal 30% more Stellar Glimmer DMG.

Additional Info

Stellar Glimmer Reactions

Stellar-Conduct: The modified version of Superconduct. When Cryo meets Electro, it will spawn a Polestar Field. This Field buffs the Cryo, Electro, and Stellar-Conduct damage of nearby units based on the amount of Cryo and Electro application it records in certain intervals. Note that the Stellar-Conduct reaction does not deal any damage in and of itself.

Stellar Swirl: The modified version of Cryo Swirl. When Anemo is applied on an enemy that has Cryo on them, this instance of Swirl will become a Stellar Swirl. Stellar Swirl deals Anemo damage to the enemy just like a regular Cryo Swirl, but its damage instead scales on the stats of all teammates that participated in the reaction, just like Lunar-Charged or Lunar Crystallize.

It will also spawn a Stellar Vortex, or level it up if one already exists. The Stellar Vortex will explode after 3 seconds, and deal Cryo DMG to enemies within its radius. It also scales on the stats of all participants, and deals a lot more damage than regular Stellar Swirls. If at least 3 Stellar Swirls are triggered during its duration, it will deal increased damage.

Release Date

Odette will be officially released as a playable character in Genshin Impact on August 12, 2026, during the Version 7.0 update.
