Overview and Lunar Bloom
Lauma is a Dendro Support for all Bloom archetypes, Lunar or not. Her Elemental Skill provides off-field Dendro application alongside Dendro and Hydro RES Shred, and activates her powerful Ascension 1 Passive. Her Burst provides the 'quills' for Lunar Bloom and Bloom damage.
Lauma’s passive that increases the Base DMG of Lunar-Bloom damage does not matter very much for non-Moonsign teams like pure Bloom or Hyperbloom, but is an additional powerful buff layer for full Moonsign teams.
Lunar Bloom refers to both the Reaction itself, which is a slightly modified version of Bloom, and also to Lunar Bloom damage, a type of Dendro damage with modified properties. When Lauma is in the team, the Bloom reaction will become Lunar Bloom and generate a stack of Verdant Dew. This is a special resource that Lauma and the other Lunar Bloom Moonsign units can consume to trigger various effects.
Elemental Skill
Lauma’s Skill has two versions: Tap and Hold. When Tapped, her Skill will trigger an AoE effect around her, dealing damage and reducing the Dendro RES of enemies caught in it in roughly 2 second intervals. When Held, she will first consume up to 3 Verdant Dews and deal an instance of significant Lunar-Bloom damage before triggering the same AoE effect. Both versions will generate roughly 6-8 Dendro particles in most rotations. Both versions have the same 12 second cooldown, and the AoE field will last for approximately 15 seconds. Both versions will give the team a different buff depending on the team’s Moonsign level, through her Ascension 1 Passive: if the party is in Nascent Gleam, meaning Lauma is the only Moonsign character, she will give Blooms, Hyperblooms and Burgeon explosions 15 Crit Rate and 100 Crit Damage. If in Ascendant Gleam, she will give all Lunar Bloom damage 10 Crit Rate and 20 Crit Damage. If this Skill is Held, Lauma will also gain 1 stack of ‘Moon Song’ per Verdant Dew consumed, a resource used by her Elemental Burst.
Elemental Burst
Lauma’s Elemental Burst costs 60 Energy on a 15 second cooldown and will give Lauma 18 stacks of ‘Pale Hymn’, the aforementioned quills. If Lauma has Moon Song, she will consume all stacks of it and gain an extra 6 stacks of Pale Hymn per Moon Song consumed, so Lauma can hold up to 36 quills if she consumes 3 Verdant Dew. Every time the team deals damage through a Bloom explosion (of any type of Bloom) or deals Lunar Bloom damage, 1 stack of Pale Hymn will be consumed to significantly increase that damage. The value of the increase is based on Lauma’s Elemental Mastery and will follow the Crit of the damage dealt, thus the Lunar Bloom quills end up quite a bit stronger.
