Overview

Aniimo’s next adventure takes Pathfinders to the Whisperwake Isles, with a new ecosystem to explore and more creatures to discover. Season 1: Departure with the Wind Part 2 arrives on October 29, 2026, continuing the journey through Idyll.

In this preview, we’ll cover the new region, Aniimo, PvP and seasonal activities, alongside the collection and combat improvements announced for version 1.1.

If you’re still getting started, our Aniimo beginner guide covers early progression, catching creatures and developing your team.

Explore the Whisperwake Isles

The Whisperwake Isles introduce four areas: Crescent Bay, Rosy Mirelands, Wildwater Gorge and Cloudreach Falls.

Access requires level 55, Grade I Trailblazer and completion of A Tale of Tide and Song.

If exploring the new region is your priority, those requirements give you something concrete to work towards before the update. Check your promotion progress alongside your level so an unfinished assessment does not catch you out.

New Aniimo and Prismana Forms

Part 2’s announced lineup includes 51 Aniimo across 32 new species. New Prismana forms include Whirlbite, Gachapus, Jabster and Sugartini.

For a refresher on collecting these forms, our Aniimo Prismana guide explains nurturing, Prismatic Energy and triggering Prismana encounters.

Real Time Duels and More PvP

Permanent additions include real-time 1v1 Duels and a new fair-play PvP mode for Operation: Egg Heist.

These are the additions to watch if competing against other Pathfinders is your main interest.

New PvP and Seasonal Activities

Permanent additions include real-time 1v1 Duels and a new fair-play PvP mode for Operation: Egg Heist.

Limited-time activities include Aniimo Dash, featuring open-world races, and new Dark, Earth and Lightning Holo-Battle Sim stages.

If you’re unfamiliar with the existing extraction mode, our Operation: Egg Heist guide covers its basic preparation and gameplay.

The seasonal schedule also includes:

Event

Announced dates

Magical Night

Prismana Snapshots

Night Parade features Candy House decorating and fragrance-making, while Magical Night introduces Magic Pumpkin and Memoryglow Fruit crops.

Check the individual event schedules when planning your sessions, since the activities do not all share the same availability window.

Collection Improvements Planned for Aniimo 1.1

The developers have also announced changes to Sparkling appearances, Legendary Aniipods and Irisalis’s Innate Potential.

Switch Between Unlocked Sparkling Hues

Sparkling Prismana Aniimo will be able to switch freely between their unlocked Sparkling Hues, including returning to their original Prismana colour. This applies to appearances already unlocked for that Aniimo.

Use Legendary Aniipods on Existing Sparkling Aniimo

Legendary Aniipods will become usable on Sparkling Aniimo you already own. Using one replaces the original capture Aniipod and applies the Legendary Aniipod’s exclusive Sparkling effect.

Fixed Innate Potential for Irisalis

Irisalis will receive fixed Innate Potential values: 10 ATK, 10 REGEN, and 5 each in HP, BREAK, M.DEF and P.DEF.

Existing Potential above these values will convert into Starcryst Essence, with exact compensation rules and amounts to follow in the update announcement and in-game mail.

Our Aniimo Potential guide explains the difference between innate and acquired Potential when developing your team.

ATK and Damage Calculation Changes

Version 1.1 is planned to make ATK increases affect damage more directly for non-DPS Aniimo.

Currently, a minimum calculated ATK can prevent some stat increases from immediately improving damage. The developers intend to refine that calculation while keeping the overall combat experience largely unchanged. Full details are still to come.
