Village of Lu collectibles in Phantom Blade Zero include Memory Flowers, weapons, accessories, medicine, and upgrade shards scattered through the village, rice fields, and underground passages.

This guide covers your initial journey through the village, including the trips back to earlier regions needed for certain rewards. Further return-visit locations will be added as coverage expands.
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, descend into the river and head right beneath the scaffolding. Continue past the two NPCs and defeat the enemies further along the river, near the Memory Flower.
Return to the pair beneath the scaffolding and exhaust their dialogue to receive the fragment.
Sha-Chi Amber Fragment 2
From the Black Serpent House bell, take the descending rope nearby. Defeat the enemy below, then swing across to the crossing with the ribbon.
Climb the stairs beyond the crossing and enter the building on the right. Descend the ladder through the hole in the floor, then step outside onto the lower ledge. Open the chest beside the Memory Flower to collect the fragment.
Sha-Chi Amber Fragment 3
Leave Survivors’ Courtyard and follow the rising path on the right. Climb the wall and immediately turn left at the top of the stairs, before entering the house.
Search beneath the adjoining platform for the chest containing the fragment.
Sha-Chi Amber Fragment 4
Requires defeating Mu Xiaokui. Collect this before taking the lift back down.
In Mu Xiaokui’s arena, search beside the pier for the tree with a chest at its base. Open the chest to collect the fragment before leaving the upper area.
The lift breaks during the descent, so do not leave this chest for later.
Blackstone Fragments
Blackstone Fragment 1
From the Young Master Lan’s Hideout bell, follow the path into the open garden and continue to the Gatekeeper’s arena.
Defeat the boss, then open the chest in the back corner before leaving through the gateway.
Blackstone Fragment 2
From Zhang’s hideout, slide back down into the open area and use your axe to break through the barricade.
Defeat the enemies inside to trigger the scene removing the threads. Search the back of the cleared area for the Blackstone pickup.
Blackstone Fragment 3
From the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance bell, enter the large flooded arena and defeat the boss.
Cross the water towards the back of the arena and open the chest beyond the Memory Flower to collect the fragment.
Blackstone Fragment 4
Requires opening the underground passage after defeating Mu Xiaokui.
From the Puppet Testing Grounds bell, enter the passage through the door opened with the story-related eye item.
Follow the tunnel into the enemy-filled room and defeat the enemies to remove the thread barrier. Collect the Blackstone at the back of the room before continuing towards the locked cage.
Weapons and Phantom Edges
Bastion
From the Young Master Lan’s Hideout bell, follow the path through the open garden to the Gatekeeper’s arena.
Defeat the Gatekeeper to receive the Bastion shield Phantom Edge.
Tianxuan Bronze Sword
From the Statue Grounds Entrance bell, continue into the arena and defeat the boss.
The weapon is awarded after the fight. Before leaving, collect the Memory Flower and activate the bell in the middle of the arena.
Kuye Temple Prayer Beads
From the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance bell, enter the large flooded arena and defeat the boss to receive this Phantom Edge.
This reward is separate from the Prayer Beads retrieved in Weeping Creek Valley for the monk’s accessory quest.
Puppeteer’s Bell
From the Broken Puppet Pit Entrance bell, approach the edge of the wooden platform and drop into the arena below.
Defeat Dusk, the Puppeteer to receive the Phantom Edge. Activate the bell at the bottom of the pit before leaving.
Heartrend Pipa
From the Beneath the Well bell, follow the underground passage past the ribbon interaction and into the next boss arena.
Defeat Yuzan, No. 3 Musician Puppet to receive the Heartrend Pipa.
Fiend Saws
Requires completing the Young Mistress Tale before fighting Mu Xiaokui.
From the Puppet Testing Grounds bell, enter the adjoining open chamber and approach the progression door leading to the lift. Open the door, take the lift upwards, and activate the bell before the arena.
Defeat Mu Xiaokui and complete the full encounter to receive the Fiend Saws among the rewards.
Requires defeating Mu Xiaokui. Collect this before taking the lift back down.
After the fight, approach the glowing pickup near the pier in Mu Xiaokui’s arena. Interact with it and finish the additional scene to obtain the weapon.
Collect the nearby Amber fragment from the chest beneath the tree before leaving, as the lift breaks during the descent.
Accessories
Jewel’s Knot
From the Place of Awakening, cross the bridge and descend towards Jewel’s cabin.
Speak to Jewel and exhaust her dialogue, then open the chest at the back of her shop to collect the accessory.
Mother’s Talisman
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, climb the stairs towards the large house at the top.
Enter the house and defeat the large enemy inside. The accessory is awarded after the encounter.
Livingwood Talisman
From the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar bell, descend the short stairs and drop from the nearby ledge into the enemy-filled area.
Continue through the lower courtyards and enter the building at the far end. Open the chest inside to collect the accessory.
Arrowward
Speak to the wounded man near the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance and ask whether he has any requests.
Travel to Thieves’ Camp in Crimson Forest. Clear the hostile enemies, then climb the rocks towards the former location of Quick Hand Zhang’s shop. Defeat the enemy there to obtain the Thief’s Manual.
Return to the wounded man and give him the manual to receive the accessory. Complete this request promptly rather than leaving it until the end of the region.
Agarwood Prayer Beads
Speak to the monk sitting beside the tree in Survivors’ Courtyard and choose “Do not believe.”
Travel to the Outpost bell in Weeping Creek Valley. Descend through the settlement towards the forge and defeat the enemies in that area to obtain the Prayer Beads.
Return to Survivors’ Courtyard and show the beads to the monk. Finish the conversation to receive the accessory.
Choose “Do not believe” during the initial conversation to keep this reward available.
Fine Thread
Collect all three of Quick Hand Zhang’s treasures in the village:
Wedding Candles.
Unveiled Statue.
White Jade Twins.
Their locations are listed in the treasure section below.
Return to his village hideout, speak to him about the request, and hand over all three treasures to receive the accessory.
A Puppet’s Wooden Heart
At the Temple of Blue Fireflies bell, speak to the woman near the small shrine and accept her letter. Wait for her to turn around if she does not immediately respond.
Travel to the Survivors’ Courtyard bell and speak to the man in the back-right corner of the courtyard to progress the request.
Next, travel to the Engine Giant Remains bell, descend into the rice fields below the large building, and interact with the body beside the fire.
Return to the Temple of Blue Fireflies bell and speak to the woman again. Finish the dialogue to receive the accessory.
Remnant Spark Cage
Requires the cellar key given by the imprisoned thief in the underground passage.
Travel to the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar bell, descend to the locked cellar entrance, and use the key. Follow the passage down to the left, then drop to the right into the enemy-filled room.
Defeat the enemies and open the chest on the left side of the room to collect the accessory.
Medicine
Spirit-Returning Broth
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, climb the stairs and take the left turn partway up.
Enter the building off the lower courtyard and continue into its interior rooms. Defeat the enemy and collect the golden medicine pickup.
Forbidden Concoction
From the Black Serpent House bell, enter the building immediately behind you.
Climb the ladder through the red-lit interior and collect the medicine at the top before dropping back down.
Memory Flowers
Memory Flower 1
From the Crossroads bell below Jewel’s cabin, follow the cliffside path without dropping into the lower village.
The flower is at the end of the path, beside the bell near the closed gate.
Memory Flower 2
From the Young Master Lan’s Hideout bell, follow the path uphill and over into the open garden.
Approach the two figures to trigger their scene, then collect the nearby Memory Flower before entering the Gatekeeper’s arena.
Memory Flower 3
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, descend into the river and head right beneath the scaffolding.
Continue beyond the two NPCs and defeat the enemies further along the river. Collect the flower before returning to the pair.
Memory Flower 4
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, descend into the river and take the left-hand branch towards the bridge.
Defeat the enemies hanging beneath the crossing, then collect the Memory Flower at the back of this section.
Memory Flower 5
At the Temple of Blue Fireflies, enter the large building to the right of the courtyard.
Take the right-hand room and collect the flower from the raised altar-like surface.
Memory Flower 6
From the Covered Bridge bell, take the path down to the right, then turn right again into the lower cluster of houses.
Defeat the enemies and search the building at the back of the area for the Memory Flower.
Memory Flower 7
From the Black Serpent House bell, take the descending rope, defeat the enemy below, and swing across to the ribbon crossing.
Climb the stairs beyond the crossing and enter the building on the right. Descend through the hole in the floor using the ladder, then exit onto the lower ledge.
The Memory Flower is beside the chest containing an Amber fragment.
Memory Flower 8
Defeat the boss beyond the Statue Grounds Entrance.
The flower is in the middle of the arena, beside The Lady Grounds bell. Collect it before entering the building where the children are watching.
Memory Flower 9
From The Lady Grounds bell, enter the house where the children are watching from the doorway.
Exit through the back, climb the wall on the left, and follow the raised path to the next building. Enter it and drop through the hole in the floor to find the Memory Flower in the room below.
Memory Flower 10
From the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance bell, enter the large flooded arena and defeat the boss.
Search the water in the centre of the arena for the Memory Flower.
Memory Flower 11
From the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance bell, cross the flooded boss arena and follow the waterway beyond its far side.
Defeat the large enemy guarding the end of the waterway, then collect the Memory Flower from the rock at the back. The nearby chest contains ordinary supplies.
Memory Flower 12
From the Terraces bell above the flooded arena, enter the building immediately beside the bell.
Collect the flower inside before heading out into the rice fields.
Memory Flower 13
From the Engine Giant Remains bell, enter the large building beside it and defeat the figure directly ahead.
This triggers the scene removing the threads over the well. Collect the Memory Flower inside the building before dropping through the opening in the floor.
Memory Flower 14
From the Engine Giant Remains bell, enter the large building and drop through the opening in the floor behind the encounter area.
Follow the passage back outside, turn left, and descend to the Memory Flower near the rope leading down towards Survivors’ Courtyard.
Memory Flower 15
From the Survivors’ Courtyard bell, leave through the courtyard gate and follow the rising path on the right towards the house containing the man who gives you the Hunter’s Dog Bell.
From that house, head down into the small open courtyard, descend another level, and turn right. The Memory Flower is on a small table beside an opening leading underground.
Memory Flower 16
Requires removing the threads over the well by completing the encounter inside the building beside the Engine Giant Remains bell.
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, approach the cleared well and jump down.
The Memory Flower is immediately ahead and to the right at the bottom, before the passage leading to the underground bell.
Quick Hand Zhang’s Treasures
Wedding Candles
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, climb the stairs to the large house containing the enemy that awards Mother’s Talisman.
Continue into the next room and climb the ladder. Follow the upper floor through the large room and search the left side near its far end for the treasure.
Unveiled Statue
From The Lady Grounds bell, enter the building where the children are watching from the doorway.
Exit through the back, climb the wall on the left, and follow the raised path behind the building. The treasure is straight ahead.
White Jade Twins
From the Survivors’ Courtyard bell, leave the courtyard and follow the rising path on the right to the house containing the man who gives you the Hunter’s Dog Bell.
Head down from the house into the small open courtyard, descend another level, and turn right towards the table holding a Memory Flower.
Drop into the opening beside the table and defeat the enemies below. Collect the treasure before climbing back outside.
Once you have all three village treasures, take them to Quick Hand Zhang at his village hideout to receive Fine Thread.
Bells
Place of Awakening
Unlocks automatically when you enter the village after the final boss of Crimson Forest.
Crossroads
Descend from Jewel’s cabin and look to the left at the bottom of the hill.
Mandate Encampment Outer Gate
From Crossroads, follow the cliffside path without descending into the village. The bell is beside the first Memory Flower.
Old Man Gen’s Hideout
From the Crossroads bell, take the descending cliff path into the lower village.
Defeat the enemies along the path and climb the ladder leading to the old man’s house. The bell is at the top, outside the building.
Young Master Lan’s Hideout
From the Old Man Gen’s Hideout bell, pass through the nearby gate and drop from the bridge to the left.
Climb the wall, follow the path through the house, and head uphill to the right. The bell is beside Young Master Lan.
Well of the Three Puppets
From the Young Master Lan’s Hideout bell, follow the path through the garden and defeat the Gatekeeper.
Leave the arena through the gateway, pass the tree with the ribbon, and cross the bridge. The bell is on the left.
Temple of Blue Fireflies
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, descend into the river and take the left-hand branch beneath the bridge.
Cross to the opposite bank, follow the path uphill, and curve left towards the temple courtyard. The bell is beside the temple.
Covered Bridge
From the Well of the Three Puppets bell, climb the stairs to the large house at the top and defeat the enemy inside.
Continue into the next room, climb the ladder, and follow the upper floor through the large room. Leave through the back of the house and drop down to find the bell ahead.
Zhang’s Hideout
From the Covered Bridge bell, descend the path on the right and turn right again into the lower houses.
Continue towards the waterfall and enter the rocky passage beside it. Climb through the cave and use the chain traversal points to emerge beside the bell outside Quick Hand Zhang’s hideout.
Black Serpent House
From Zhang’s Hideout bell, slide down into the open area and use your axe to break the barricade.
Defeat the enemies beyond it to remove the threads. Cross to the dry ground at the back-right, climb the rocks and ladder, and pass through the small building.
Clear the enemies outside, then head downhill and right to the bell beneath the canopy.
Statue Grounds Entrance
From the Black Serpent House bell, take the descending rope, defeat the enemy below, and swing across to the ribbon crossing.
Climb the stairs beyond the crossing towards the building with the opening in its floor. Follow the stairs upwards outside this building, turn left, and climb the next staircase.
The bell is immediately on the left before the boss arena.
The Lady Grounds
Defeat the boss beyond Statue Grounds Entrance. The bell is in the middle of the arena beside a Memory Flower.
Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar
From The Lady Grounds bell, enter the house where the children are watching. Exit through the back, climb the wall on the left, and follow the raised path to the next building.
Drop through the hole in its floor, leave the lower room, and descend the short ladder outside. Defeat the enemies and follow the path straight through the area.
Climb the short staircase on the right to reach the bell.
Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance
From the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar bell, descend the short stairs and drop from the nearby ledge.
Fight through the lower courtyards to the house containing the Livingwood Talisman chest. Leave that house and enter the neighbouring building on the right.
Cross the interior obstruction, descend to the right, and follow the passage around to the bell.
Terraces
From the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance bell, enter the flooded boss arena and defeat the boss.
Follow the waterway beyond the arena, then take the raised platform leading up towards the bridge. Climb the rocks, cross the bridge, and follow the hill upwards.
Climb the stairs through the small house and continue around its back to reach the bell at the top.
Engine Giant Remains
Climb through the rice fields beyond Terraces to the large building at the highest point. The bell is outside.
Survivors’ Courtyard
From the Engine Giant Remains bell, enter the large building and drop through the opening in its floor.
Follow the passage outside, turn left, and descend past the Memory Flower to the rope. Slide down and defeat the enemies at the bottom.
Interact with the nearby courtyard gate and wait for the residents to open it. The bell is inside.
Broken Puppet Pit Entrance
Requires access to the passage behind the Temple of Blue Fireflies shrine.
From the Temple of Blue Fireflies bell, enter the shrine and leave through its rear passage.
Descend the platforms, swing across the gap, and climb the ladder and wall. Take the two descending slides on the right, then follow the path to the bell on the wooden platform overlooking the pit.
Broken Puppet Pit Bottom
From the Broken Puppet Pit Entrance bell, drop from the wooden platform into Dusk’s arena.
Defeat Dusk, the Puppeteer and finish the following scene. The bell is ahead at the bottom of the pit.
Beneath the Well
After removing the threads over the Well of the Three Puppets, descend through the well and pass the Memory Flower. The bell is in the next room.
Puppet Testing Grounds
From the Beneath the Well bell, follow the underground passage past the ribbon interaction and into Yuzan’s arena.
Defeat Yuzan, No. 3 Musician Puppet, then activate the bell in the arena and finish its memory sequence.
Bell Before the Final Boss
From the Puppet Testing Grounds bell, enter the adjoining open chamber and approach the progression door leading to the lift.
Open the door and take the lift upwards. Activate the bell at the top before entering Mu Xiaokui’s arena.
Complete the Young Mistress Tale before starting the fight.
Hidden Passage to Pangzhen
Requires opening the underground passage after defeating Mu Xiaokui.
From the Puppet Testing Grounds bell, enter the passage through the door opened with the story-related eye item.
Clear the enemies blocking the tunnel and follow the passage through the cage area. Beyond the imprisoned thief, climb the stairs and take the lift upwards.
Open the gate at the top to reach the bell ahead.
Important Keys and Tales
The Journey Home and the Old Man’s Key
From the Old Man Gen’s Hideout bell, enter the house and speak to the old man on the balcony. Exhaust his dialogue to begin the request.
Later, from the Puppet Testing Grounds bell, enter the adjoining open chamber and head into the red-lit section on the right. Speak to the girl at the back and accept the item she wants delivered to her grandfather.
Return to the Old Man Gen’s Hideout bell and speak to him on the balcony. Give him the item and agree to his request to receive the key.
Dahuang and the Hunter’s Dog Bell
From Survivors’ Courtyard, climb towards the house above the courtyard.
Enter the house and speak to the man inside. Exhaust his dialogue to progress the Tale and receive the Hunter’s Dog Bell.
Thief’s Manual
After accepting the wounded man’s request near the Smuggler’s Tunnel Entrance, travel to Thieves’ Camp in Crimson Forest.
Climb the rocks towards Quick Hand Zhang’s former shop and defeat the enemy there to obtain the manual. Return it to the wounded man for Arrowward.
Prayer Beads
Speak to the monk in Survivors’ Courtyard and choose “Do not believe” before retrieving these beads.
Travel to the Outpost in Weeping Creek Valley, descend towards the forge, and defeat the enemies there. Collect the beads and return them to the monk for the accessory reward.
Tunnel Cage Key
Requires opening the underground passage after defeating Mu Xiaokui.
From the Puppet Testing Grounds bell, enter the passage through the door opened with the story-related eye item.
Follow the tunnel to the enemy-filled room and defeat the enemies to remove the thread barrier. Search the back of the room containing the Blackstone fragment to collect the cage key.
Village of Lu Cellar Key
Requires the Tunnel Cage Key and access to the underground passage after defeating Mu Xiaokui.
From the Puppet Testing Grounds bell, enter the passage through the door opened with the story-related eye item. Continue through the cleared encounter room into the deeper tunnel.
Follow the passage around to the right, defeating the enemies along the way, until you reach the locked cage containing the thief. Unlock it and exhaust his dialogue to receive the cellar key.
Take the key to the Smuggler’s Treasure Cellar bell and unlock the cellar below. Collecting the Remnant Spark Cage accessory inside finishes this detour before you continue towards Pangzhen.
