Overview

There are a ton of ways to make gold in Palworld. From breeding to selling, farming and many more. In this guide, we will go over several different methods you can use to make a ton of gold in Palworld, ranging from setting up a farm to a strong, gold-generating Pal party and more. Let’s begin.

This guide was written with the help of ItalianSpartacus. Be sure to check out their channel out for more Palworld content.

Gold Coin

Do Your Missions

As you play through the game, you will have a variety of Sub Missions to complete. Each quest requires you to complete different objectives and offers different rewards. There are many quests in the game that reward EXP and gold upon completion, such as the Sub Mission Stockpiling Sulfur, which grants 3550 EXP and 3000 gold.

It is recommended to complete the Sub Missions when possible, as they give rewards that can also be used to generate more gold. However, it is important to note that Pals whose skill give bonus gold, such as Dumud Gild does not apply to Sub Missions

Super Gold Ranch Farm

Outside of doing Sub Missions, one of the best ways to earn passive gold is by building a Super Gold Ranch Farm. You can put Pals in your Ranch to generate gold for you. Having a few gold-generating Pals will allow you to passively earn gold while you’re off doing other things.

Pal

Description

Dumud Gild

While in party, increases amount of Gold Coin dropped by enemies by +110%. Sometimes drops High Quality Pal Oil when assigned to Ranch, with a small chance to drop Gold Coin. (Does not stack).

Mau

Sometimes digs up Gold Coin when assigned to Ranch.

Mau, when paired with the Noble Passive Skill will increase the value of items when sold by 5%. It is also a Dark Pal, meaning it will work at night.

Dumud Gild is one of the most popular gold-generating Pals. Stacking Passive Skills on it like Work Slave, Insomnia, Lucky, and Artisan will make it a gold-generating monster throughout the day and night!

Putting Salad in your Feed Box will make these Pals even more effective at generating gold.

Pal Operating Table

You can put extra Passive Skills on your Pals.

  • Serious give your Pal +20% Work Speed.
  • Work Slave gives your Pal +30% Work Speed but -30% Attack.
  • Artisan gives your pal +50% Work Speed. But Artisan requires 15 bounty slips to be given to a bounty officer to buy the implant.

Selling Base Junk

Selling things is another way of generating gold. But to earn even more gold, you can utilise Passive Skills that increase the value of items sold. There are 2 key Passive Skills to have, which are Noble and Fine Furs.

Noble

  • Increases the value of items when sold by 5%.

Fine Furs

  • Increases the value of items when sold by 3%.

You can apply these Passive Skills (focus on Fine Furs first, as it is cheaper) to the whole party, which will cost 50k.

Head to a machine that allows you to search for everything in your base. Then filter the search results by Other Materials and Pal Materials. You then want to go through each item individually and look for items that say “Can be sold to a merchant for a high price”. Some example items are Precious Dragon Stone, Emerald, Sapphire, Precious Entrails and others.

Other Materials and Pal Materials

You can tell what items are used for other things when it doesn’t say that it can be sold to a merchant.

If you have tons of additional seeds and Schematics, you can also sell them if you wish.

Head over to the merchant and sell the items you no longer need.

Active Gold Farming

Killing enemies is another great way of making gold, but it is an active method, while some of the other methods we have spoken about so far are more passive. While killing and actively farming, you need a good Pal Party to generate even more gold.

Pal

Description

Dumud Gild

While in party, increases amount of Gold Coin dropped by enemies by +110%. Sometimes drops High Quality Pal Oil when assigned to Ranch, with a small chance to drop Gold Coin. (Does not stack).

Blazehowl Noct

While in party, Neutral Pals drop 40% more items when defeated. (Does not stack).

Katress

While in party, Neutral Pals drop 40% more items when defeated. Also has a 10% chance to prevent Pal Sphere consumption when thrown. (Does not stack).

As gold is considered an item, these pals will generate more gold when you kill something.

Killing Neutrals

Killing any human is a neutral character and will drop rewards. Mimog is a popular Pal to hunt, but it can be quite hard to find, and it is more of a late-game character. This is why killing the Black Marketeer is better, as it is easy to find and respawns every 10 minutes.

The Black Marketeer can be found in the location below at the waterfall West of Mount Flopie Summit.

How to Capture Dumud Gild

Dumud Gild is a very popular Pal that is very good at generating gold. You can capture it in many different places, and it is commonly found around the edges of the Obsidian Mountain Coastline.

Where to Find Dumud Gild

You can also get this Pal from fishing, which can be easier than trying to find him. If you cannot find the Dumud Gild, you can get a normal Dumud, bread it with a Eikthyrdeer Terra to make a Dumud Gild.

Breeding Your Gold

Breading Pals is another way to get a lot of gold quickly in Palworld. You will want to breed as many as you can and sell them regardless of bonuses or stats. It is important to note that Alpha Pals give even more money. Ideally, you are looking to get Alpha versions of pets as they give double gold.

In this case, you will be breading Dumud Gild.

Dumud

You can increase the chances of getting Alpha Pals by taking Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua

Pal

Description

Broncherry

While in party, Pal Eggs you pick up have a 47% chance of becoming an Alpha Pal Egg. (Does not stack).

Broncherry Aqua

While in party, Pal Eggs you pick up have a 37% chance of becoming an Alpha Pal Egg. (Does not stack).

Grintale

While in party, picking up a Pal Egg has a 50% chance of receiving one extra. (Does not stack).

Braloha

While in your base, increases the egg production speed of Pals assigned to Breeding Farm by 20%. (Does not stack).

Taking both the Broncherry and Broncherry Aqua Pals together basically grants you an Alpha Pal Egg, which is why you should take them together.

We take Grintale as it doubles the chances of getting eggs.

Keep Braloha in your base, as it will speed up egg hatching.

Cake Choice

Vegetable Cakes are ideal for the Breeding Farm as you want quantity of quality of Pals. The Vegetable Cake increases Egg production, which is what you want. However, you can do this with normal Cake as well.

Incubation

After you have put the Dumud Gild in the Breeding Farm, let them produce the eggs and then pick them up when they’re ready. Make sure you have the 3 Pals to get Alpha or duplicate Eggs. Head over to the incubator and start incubating the eggs.

Egg Incubation

Once they have hatched, put them in a box and go and sell them to a merchant for extra gold! Make sure you have your selling party Pals on so you get extra gold, too!

By doing this over and over again, you can easily make 600k in 1 hour just by breeding Pals and getting Alpha Pals.

Selling Extra Pals

For the final tip, you can also earn gold just by selling Pals you don’t want or need. High-level Pals and Alpha Pals give you a lot of extra gold, and if you have duplicates or don’t intend on using the Pal, just sell them.
