Palworld 1.0: How to Maximize Your Damage

Palworld 1.0 introduced some challenging boss encounters, especially when taking on Hard Mode Tower Bosses. If you want to delete bosses in seconds rather than fighting long battles, this player damage build is one of the strongest setups available.

This build focuses on three things:

1. Matching your weapon element to the enemy's weakness
2. Passive Skills
3. Weapons & Accessories

With the correct setup, this build can defeat most Hard Mode Tower Bosses in around 20–45 seconds.

The foundation of this build uses three essential Pals: Vanwyrm Cryst, Cryolinx Terra, and Solenne. These three Pals contributes to buffing up your weak point damage and should remain in your party for every boss encounter.

The remaining two party slots are flexible. Before each boss encounter, swap in an elemental mount that changes your attack type to the enemy's weakness, then pair it with the corresponding Pal that boosts weak point damage for that element. This allows you to maximize elemental damage without changing the core of your build.

For example, if you're fighting a Dragon type boss, equip Frostallion as your mount to convert your attacks to Ice damage. Then pair it with Moldron Cryst, whose Partner Skill increases player and Pal Ice damage to enemy weak points by 40%. Combining both effects lets you take full advantage of the boss's elemental weakness while also increasing the damage dealt to its weak points, making you deal insane amounts of damage.

This same strategy applies to every element. Simply swap your mount to match the boss's weakness, then bring the elemental support Pal that increases weak point damage for that element.

For passive skills on your Frostallion you're going to want Dimensional Leap, this gives movement speed and out of all the 4 passive skills this one can be the most flexible. Diamond Body, Idiosyncratic and Sacrificed Meat Shield are extremely important for the defense and also makes you immune to flinch which makes you stay alive while you're mounted so you can get more out of your bonuses.

For Moldron Crystal you're going to want a couple of offensive passive skills. Vanguard increases your player's Attack, while Reload Master improves reload speed, allowing you to deal damage more consistently. Stronghold Strategist will increase your Player Defense and we'll look to go Idiosyncratic again for the health regen.

They do stack in the party so you're going to be getting around 40% increased Defense and 40% increased damage while also getting increased reload speed.

The build works with almost any weapon because the majority of your damage comes from elemental bonuses and weak point multipliers.

However, here are a few options.

Drone Launcher

The Drone Launcher is extremely useful because the drones remain active and continue dealing damage while you fight.

Plasma Rifle

Plasma Rifle is great as its consistent, doesn't require perfect accuracy and it allows you to put constant pressure on boss weak points.

Mechanical Bow

The bow can also perform extremely well. A properly built bow setup can deal massive weak point damage, but it requires more accuracy. The downside is that boss hitboxes can sometimes make shots inconsistent.

Melee Weapons

Melee weapons currently do not scale well enough for this build. Even with specialized setups, melee damage struggles compared to ranged weapons.

Best Accessories

For accessories, focus on increasing damage while keeping your mount alive.

Attack Pendant

Provides a large attack increase.

Dogen Emblem

Boosts the Attack of both you and your active Pal.

Silvegis Emblem

Boosts both your Defense and your active Pal's Defense.

Warsect Terra's Belt

Greatly raises Defense and Health.
