As you explore a dungeon, you’ll encounter wild Pals that can be defeated or captured for XP. Dungeons can also introduce you to species you have not finished capturing yet, allowing you to make progress toward their Capture Bonuses. 

Explore Before Fighting the Boss 

When farming experience, avoid rushing directly toward the final room. 

Instead: 

• Explore each available path.  
• Defeat or capture the Pals you encounter.
