Perks are an integral part of Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush, used to tune each of your cars to their ultimate form. In this guide, we'll go over what perks are, and more specifically what they can do for each of your vehicles in the game!
Overview
Perks Explained
The core concept of Perks in Infinite Rush isn't just to make your cars stronger. Instead, the goal behind perks is to tune your cars to the right driving style and strategy for your own playstyle. Perks as it stands are divided into the following 4 ranks:
C - B - A - S
With each perk, the general rule of thumb is simple. The higher rank perk you have, the greater the trade off will become. This was done by the developers to ensure that gameplay remains balanced, while still offering a meaningful option for customization.
You can only pick 1 perk per vehicle, and all ranks aside from the S rank can be used on every vehicle. For the S Rank Perk, it will only be able to be placed on specific cars, as it's unique to each class.

Furthermore, each Perk has a different focus on your car. The specifics of each perk can be found below:
- C Rank - Focuses on handling and vehicle responsiveness. Not many drawbacks.
- B Rank - Focuses on primarily boost and dash
- A Rank - Much greater impact on performance, modifying physics parameters like boost and top speed. As a tradeoff, boost depletes faster.
- S Rank - Specifically designed for a certain class, and focuses on deeper drawbacks. Example: Speeders increase boost recharge, but brakes become more reactive. Titans get better boost recharge, but overcharging slows the vehicle for longer.
Vehicle Customization
Outside of tailored perks for your cars, you'll also be able to customize your cars in other forms within Infinite Rush. These options include changing up your boosting sounds, drifting sounds, and also visual effects. Part of this will include a dedicated editor that will allow you to add stickers, and unique liveries to your cars.
The game will also let you put unique wheel sets on each of your cars, including a separate option to change out the rims said wheels use. Despite this, the size of the wheels on the car will still remain the same, a change made to ensure the car keeps the original design in mind.
