Cthulu is the official final boss of Act 10 "Ebontharn" which was recently added to Hero Siege as part of its Season 10 update. Despite being a fairly simple boss to take down in normal difficulty, you may find yourself struggling with this boss in later difficulties like Hell. In this guide we'll go over some general tips to help you take down this boss.

Cthulu Attacks
The first step to defeating Cthulu is understanding each of his attacks. Here are each of the main attacks you should be aware of in the fight, and some general tips on how you can avoid falling victim to them easily.
Ether Constructs
For this attack, Cthulu will summon falling ruins which will impact the center of the arena, dealing a large amount of area damage on impact. Once this happens, Bloating Monstrosity enemies will spawn, which will then rapidly pursue you.
Void Tether
A double sided laser been is spawned into the arena, bouncing around for a long duration. If you touch the beam at any point, it will rapidly damage you. There is also a chance that during the fight, two of these lasers will spawn. This makes dodging it much difficult.
Ethereal Destruction
Perhaps the hardest attack to avoid, this is a barrage of quite literally hundreds of bombs in the arena. The main difficulty is the visual pollution it causes, making dodging extremely difficult. The best way to avoid this attack is to stick to either a clear opening in the barrage, or hugging the side of the arena.
Legion Of Ether
This is a rather simple attack in comparison to the others, but still extremely deadly. A circlular formation of squidmen will converge onto the arena, instantly chasing after you. They always jump in the same formation, and deal a ton of damage if they hit you. Luckily, they don't have an insane amount of HP and are relatively easy to deal with.
Vorpal Strike
The next attack is from Cthulu directly, as he'll attempt to charge at you, finishing up with a deadly cleave. The best way to dodge this attack is to pay attention to when he charges it, and immediately move to the other side of the arena using your movement ability.
Wait Out The Cutscene Before Buffing Up
An important tip to give during this fight (or rather before it) is to wait out on using your class-specific buffs or potions. This is because at the time of writing this article, there is a forced dialogue sequence that will always play at the start of the fight.
This sequence lasts around 30 seconds, and if you go into the fight popping your buffs right away, will leave you completely drained. This obviously isn't ideal, as for a boss with so much HP like Cthulu, you don't want to burn your most powerful advantage before you've even had a chance to utilize it.
Focus Mobs Immediately
The next tip for this fight is in relation to any mechanic in which enemies make their way into the arena. The Cthulu fight isn't just stressful, it's claustrophobic. Giving yourself as much room as possible to work in such a small arena is the key to surviving this encounter. For this reason, make sure to hard focus any enemies the moment they spawn to avoid letting the fight get out of control.
Avoid The Center At All Costs
This last tip is more directed towards players struggling with survivability. The majority of attacks in the Cthulu fight put a large focus on the center of the arena. Not only that, but a great deal of them can be countered much easier by sticking to the outside of the arena. For this reason, hugging the walls of the arena when attacks are fired off is one of the best ways to stay alive in the Cthulu fight, assuming you're a player with low defense.
