Overview

Aniimo Season 1 Part 2 opens the Whisperwake Isles, giving Pathfinders a new region to explore, more Aniimo to collect and further title promotions to work towards.

Your first priorities are progressing through Crescent Bay, completing Elite Training objectives and unlocking the next stage of your team’s development. Along the way, there are new exploration mechanics, faster Alpha reward claims and seasonal activities worth starting early.

This guide covers those first steps and the update changes that are easy to miss. For a broader look at the additions, check out our Aniimo Season 1 Part 2 overview.

Prioritise Elite Training in Crescent Bay

Follow the opening story until you reach the Waters Confluence milestone, then check your Elite Training progress. Claim completed objectives as you go so you can see what remains before your next title assessment.

Two useful early exploration goals are:

  • Earn the Crescent Bay Bronze Collection Badge. This requires 40% collection progress.
  • Complete three Pathfinder Challenges. Look for nearby challenges you can finish with the Aniimo already available to you.

Check the Resonance objective against your current team as well, since an Aniimo you have already developed may satisfy it.

Catching Alpha Glameep can contribute towards your collection, but check your progress afterwards. If you are still short of the Bronze Badge, catch other missing species around Crescent Bay to reach the threshold.

Elite Training also offers alternative objectives. Continuing towards the Silver Collection Badge can be an option if you prefer collecting, while nearby Pathfinder Challenges provide another way to make progress.

Once your assessment becomes available, complete it before returning to the remaining objectives. If experience is holding you back, our Aniimo leveling guide covers additional rewards to prioritise.

Defeat Kyle and Unlock Higher Level Caps

Your early promotion progress leads to a battle with Kyle. Check the recommended Lightning and Water options before entering, and bring a developed team with reliable damage and energy recovery.

After passing the assessment, review your newly available talents. The additional Break and Slingshot options are worth checking before you continue upgrading your Aniimo.

The new growth stages unlock progressively:

  • Trailblazer II raises the Aniimo level cap from 60 to 65.
  • Trailblazer III raises the character and Aniimo level caps to 70.

Aniimo also need an Ascension to continue levelling beyond 60, using an evolution item matching their main element.

Focus your initial materials on the team helping you progress. More expensive Resonance upgrades can wait until you have decided which Aniimo you want to keep developing.

Explore Whisperwake Isles More Efficiently

There are a few useful changes to keep in mind while travelling between quests and Pathfinder Challenges.

Watch for storms. The story introduces bubbles that provide shelter during stormy weather. These conditions also matter for collecting, with Tempest forms giving you another reason to pay attention when the weather changes.

Bring Magmarex for seashells. Some items in the new region are protected by breakable shells. Simply moving over them with Hustle can leave the shell intact, so use Magmarex to break it and collect what is inside.

Use the map’s region selector. You can switch between Breezy Plains and Whisperwake Isles using the map interface. This makes returning to earlier areas much quicker than dragging across the entire map whenever you need to travel.

Keep these tools in mind while completing your Crescent Bay objectives so that exploration also contributes towards your collection and resource supplies.

Use Your Vein Essence in the New Region

Vein Essence can be used for ecosystem nurturing in the Whisperwake Isles. References to Breezy Plains in its description do not mean you need to save your existing supply exclusively for the original region.

Once you have met the local nurturing requirements, you can use that resource while working on your new collection. Our Aniimo Prismana guide explains how nurturing and Prismatic Energy work.

If a nurturing objective is not progressing, check the in-game notices before spending more Essence. The October 29 known-issues notice identifies a tracking problem with the Companion Handbook seasonal quest to nurture an ecosystem at a Branch twice.

Claim Alpha Rewards Faster

Clear new Alpha encounters for their first-clear rewards as you explore the Whisperwake Isles. The update also introduces a way to reduce the number of repeat fights needed when farming.

Monthly Pass holders can claim double Alpha rewards by spending double the usual energy. This saves time, while keeping the energy cost proportional to the rewards.

Players without the membership can also obtain a limited supply of double-cost tickets from the Stamp Shop, priced at 50 stamps each.

Use these when you already intend to spend that energy on an Alpha’s rewards. Check the claim option before confirming so you know how much energy you are using.

Revisit the Updated Stamp Shop

Check the Stamp Shop when you first log in after the update, even if you already visited it earlier in the week.

The new phase uses Windchaser Stamps and updates the shop’s inventory. Review the available stock and purchase limits again instead of assuming everything you bought before the update is still unavailable.

Vein Essence is a useful purchase if you are actively nurturing ecosystems and working towards Prismana encounters. Double-cost tickets are another option if you want to spend less time repeating Alpha fights.

As you spend stamps, check whether further shop rewards have become available. You can also visit the Fashion Assistant to explore the new dye options for supported outfits.

Start the Seasonal Farming Event Early

Begin the new Homeland season alongside your Whisperwake Isles exploration. Completing the event’s daily activities and starting your crops early gives you more opportunities to build up resources throughout the season.

The new season, Magical Wonder Night, introduces Magic Pumpkin and Memory Lanternfruit crops.

A useful routine is to:

  • Complete the available seasonal daily activities.
  • Collect the new event currency.
  • Start planting and harvesting crops.
  • Reinvest in further planting and the unlocks you need.
  • Check your crop collection for missing mutations.

Growing more crops gives you more attempts at finding mutations. Starting early leaves you more time to fill the collection without having to rush near the end of the event.

The previous furniture-selling method for obtaining Bud Tickets does not carry over, so build your resource plan around the current crop and event systems.

Shop purchases also retain your selected quantity. This makes repeated seed purchases quicker, but check the amount before confirming another batch.

Check Training Resets Before Rebuilding Your Team

Balance changes can affect an Aniimo you have already invested in. Before abandoning a trained team member, check whether it qualifies for the update’s free training reset.

Eligible Aniimo include certain forms of Tuckin and Hexxin obtained before the balance adjustment. The reset is available once per eligible Aniimo and can return EXP items, Resonance Star Up materials, Capability Awakening materials and Capafruit.

The announced reset window ends on November 13, 2026. Check the in-game deadline and refund details before confirming.

There is also a separate change to regular Capability Awakening resets. Aniimo above level 60 can now reset that training by consuming a Potential Reset Card. This is distinct from the temporary free reset offered for eligible balance changes.

Review the resources being returned and choose your replacement before spending them again. If you are comparing different catches, our Aniimo Potential guide explains what to consider when choosing which copy to develop.
