This build revolves around Ironeye collecting as many status effect bows as possible like
Serpent Bow or any bow with "Added Ailment" and cycling through them to proc multiple status effects on whichever boss or Night Lord you're taking down. While still being able to dish out status effects and damage in close range with
Antspur Rapier ,
Frozen Needle , or both after using your "Marking" ability.

Game Plan and Pathing
Day 1
Very important to look at what you're most effective element/ailment is against the Night Lord selected, but also what types of attacks they clearly use (This is trial and error as you'll have to face them first to get an idea) Ex. Tricephelos (Gladius) uses fire-based attacks, don't use weapons based off that. Other Night Lords use status effects as well so be mindful of this.
Generally, Day 1 starts off with dropping you near a low level camp to farm runes, make sure to take advantage of this to immediately reach level 2-3. Always start off looking for your nearest churches for extra flasks as it not only benefits Ironeye, but every party member. Along with that, ALWAYS path towards encampments that have poison, scarlet rot, frost, or bleed as those places will more times than not - give you weapons or consumables based of the ailment of the area.
Throughout your pathing, you'll want to open as many chests and kill bosses to take advantage of your item discovery passive, but also bashing crates open in search of useful greases. This is to make sure you optimize the amount of varying status effects you can inflict on whichever boss you're dealing with - especially if you don't have any relics that allow you to deal ailments right away.
Day 2
Day 2 has a similar plan to Day 1, path towards churches to obtain more flasks for better survivability and increase your chances of winning. By this point, you have an idea of which status effect you're mostly going to use so make sure to pick up passive buffs from other armaments that help with ranged weapon attacks. It may be a good idea to start looking for your melee weapon if you haven't found one already. Any fast, dex-based weapon will do as he scales primarily off Dexterity and Arcane.
Day 3
Assuming your bows and melee weapons are effective versus whichever Night Lord was chosen, remember to stay at an effective range to deal the most damage (there's damage drop off the farther you're away from the enemy). Always make sure to get your "Marking" ability on the boss as the damage it pops is insanely high and start laying into the boss with whichever status effect you decided to pick (Poison, Scarlet Rot, Frostbite, or Bleed). Remember to constantly grease your weapon when you're able and it's not a bad idea to bring warming stones to help your teammates.
While you'll do a crazy amount of damage to the boss, you're still a very effective support character. If both of your allies get downed, make sure to aim your Ultimate Art in their direction as it while revive any teammate that's downed, no matter the purple gauges that are filled up.
Additional Tips
- Never a bad idea to have a greatbow for increased range and damage to revive your allies.
- Always pay attention to the status effects that you've dealt to the enemy and it's never a bad thing to coordinate it with your teammates to either use the same status effect to proc faster or use different ones at all time to build up two at a time.
- Use your "Marking" ability to dodge/be invulnerable during an attack that would normally hit you and if you're really desperate, use your "Ultimate Art" to be completely invulnerable from any attack.
