Diablo 4 Season 15: Crafting Recipes for Legacy Runes

Legacy Runes are a seasonal addition in Diablo 4, brought in from Diablo 2. These runes are used to make Runewords, and if you are looking for the recipes for the Runewords check out our guide here.

But just like the runes in Diablo 2, you can upgrade these in the cube to get the next highest tiered rune, but it does not work for every single rune. Since a few runes are missing, there is a gap in the crafts and you are unable to make Mal rune in the cube. Below is all the available recipes for rune crafting and how to craft them.

First, you will need your Horadric Cube to do these crafts. Place the required items in the cube and hit Transmute to get the next tier.

This is the final craft that you can do here until you get to Mal rune.

From there, we continue with Mal, which unfortunately cannot be crafted, and some things here change compared to how Rune crafting went in Diablo 2.
