How to Get a Hellfire Torch in Season 15 Diablo 4

Diablo 4 Season 15 has had so many fun things for players to discover themselves, from Runewords to new dungeons and more, it is easy to believe that we have only just begun to scratch the surface of things to find. The Hellfire Torch was added to the game as a Mythic Charm, and if you played Diablo 2, you know this is an item farmed in Uber Tristram, after collecting 3 sets of 3 types of keys, to open up special red portals. Below we will be sharing with you how you can find this item now in Diablo 4, but be warned this is going to spoil some things. So if you prefer to hunt for it on your own, click away now, but if you have given up hunting then continue on!

To begin your quest to open Uber Tristram in Diablo 4, you need to complete the seasonal questline. As you are completing the seasonal questline, you will see the seasonal dungeons on the map, noted with the seasonal logo. There will be 3 that will be shown in red - for Mephisto, Baal and Diablo.

After defeating each of the Prime Evils, there is a chance for them to drop a Splinter. There is a Splinter of Destruction, Terror and Hatred. These are one-time use consumables, that you can use to change out the equipped Soul Splinter. However, if you put one of each into the cube, this is where things begin to get a little more interesting.

Once you have collected all 3 Splinters, it is time to put them into the Horadric Cube. When you transmute them together, you will get Wirt's Lucky Coins. This pays homage to Wirt, who was first seen in Diablo 1, and later in Diablo 2 we use his leg to open up the Cow Portal.

During the seasonal questline, you may find journals scattered throughout Sanctuary. There are 10 in total, and you will need to visit each one to get to the next step towards getting your Hellfire Torch. Below shows the map where you can find each of these journals in order. If you are very interested in Diablo Lore, this is a story most have not heard before.

After reading all 10 journals, return to Deckard Cain at the Imperial Library, and speak to him again. He will open up a dark blue portal called Deckard's Memory and this is how you get to Tristram.

Once you enter Tristram, you will see a small town with the original Diablo 1 NPCs. You can talk to them and do quests for them. In the center of the Village there will be a fountain, as long as you have your Wirt's Lucky Coins on you, the fountain will allow you to interact with it.

After interacting with the fountain and making a wish, a red portal with "??????" will open up. Once you step inside, you will see that you are now inside Uber Tristram. Inside waiting for you will be the Echoes of Baal, Mephisto and Diablo. Unlike Diablo 2 where you can pull them out to fight each one separately, you will have to fight them all together here. However, upon completion this is where you will get a lot of great loot, and finally your Hellfire Torch and Standard of Heroes.

The Standard of Heroes is not a cosmetic like expected, but it does say it is a quest item. Make sure you stay tuned as we work to try to figure out what this does.
