Build Overview
This
Stinger Spiritborn focuses on optimising the damage from the
Rod of Kepeleke whilst staying tanky enough to beat all End Game Content. It does this through the following:
- The
Rod of Kepeleke allows
Stinger to be a Basic and Core skill
Stinger Drawing Damage from Surrounded Poisoned Enemies via
Potent Sting Stinger- Utilising
Gorilla,
Jaguar,
Eagle and
Centipede via the Multitude Talisman Set - All Four Spirit Halls for
Harmony of Ebewaka via the Multitude Talisman Set
Scourge for Crowd Control, Damage Reduction and apply Weakness and Vulnerable to Enemies
The Protector for Barrier Generation, Pull In and Defensive Measures- Maxing Attack Speed through Aspects, Equipment, Paragon and Ferocity
- Various Damage Multipliers
- Barrier for extreme defence
Check out the In-Depth Explanations below for further details on the build.

Why Is This Build An S Tier Build?
The reason this build is in S-Tier is because there is a bug with
Potent Sting Stinger which allows it to do Drastically More Damage when there are Increasing Poisoned Enemies when attacking with
Stinger.
What I believe has happened is
Potent Sting Stinger is the old Rampant
Stinger Upgrade from before Lord of Hatred was released except re-purposed with it's new functionality.
What is happening is the Tooltip states
Potent Sting Stinger will now always hit Surrounding Enemies and deal Increased Damage to them if they are Poisoned.
Rampant
Stinger used to switch this to draw from Poisoned Enemies to increase the Base Damage of
Stinger inside it's Original Hit Area.
This somewhat causes double dipping because I believe this is also gaining the benefit of
Potent Sting Stinger and then being applied, creating far greater damage numbers than expected.
Since I have seen no previous reports of this and I only discovered it myself near the end of Season 13, this is unlikely to be fixed on Day 1 of Season 14.
It will probably be fixed at some point, but for now it will nuke all content except potentially pushing super high in the Tower. (Due to requiring mobs for the boss, which the Tower doesn't really provide)
How much Resource Generation Do I need?
With the reduction of Resource Generation Sources across the board it has now become more difficult to enable you to activate the
Rod of Kepeleke on Every Single Hit which is where our Big Damage comes from.
The Easiest way to achieve this is to use the
Ring of the Midnight Sun which escaped the Resource Source Nerfs and can still Restore 50% Resource Spent in the Last 2 Seconds on a Critical Strike. The pairs excellently with the
Rod of Kepeleke because this will spend 100% when at Maximum Resource to guarantee a Critical Strike.
This means that we need to achieve 100% Resource Generation on the build along with a Maximum Rolled
Ring of the Midnight Sun at 50% to enable a 100% Activation Rate when attacking with the
Rod of Kepeleke.
You can obtain the Resource Generation required from various sources including:
- Intelligence
- Resource Generation Affixes
- Resource Generation Tempers
Vigor Generation Ravager
How Much Attack Speed Do I Need?
Aim for 100% Attack Speed from the following sources:
- Ferocity
- Equipment Affixes
- Offensive Temper Affixes
- Paragon Nodes
- Varyana Primary Mercenary (if you're struggling)
